Yes at the dealers on this page, with two caveats. The $500 figure usually applies to the cheapest vehicles on the lot, and a low down payment means a higher weekly payment or a longer term. Dealers set the down payment to cover the gap between what they paid for the car and what they could recover if it came back, so a $500 down offer on a $6,000 car is common and on a $12,000 truck is not.
The down payment goes toward the vehicle price; tax, title, registration and the first insurance premium are usually separate, so budget $300 to $700 more on top of the $500. Ask for the out-the-door figure before you sign.
