About BHPH Finder
BHPH Finder is an independent directory of Buy Here Pay Here car dealerships in the United States. We list dealers that finance vehicles in-house, with ratings, review excerpts, opening hours and contact details drawn from public Google business listings.
We are not a lender and we do not sell cars. Listings are refreshed periodically; if you own a dealership and something is out of date, use the contact page.
How listings are sourced and kept accurate
Sources. Business names, addresses, phone numbers, opening hours, ratings and review excerpts come from public Google business listings. Where a business has a website we also read it for social profiles, contact details and financing information it publishes itself.
Freshness. Listings are re-checked against Google on a rolling schedule; each listing page shows when its details were last verified. Businesses Google marks as closed are removed from lists and labelled on their page.
Editorial content. Descriptions, city guides and FAQs are drafted with AI from the listing data and reviewed for accuracy. They never contain prices, promises or claims that are not in the source data.
Classification. A dealer is marked Confirmed buy here pay here when its own website advertises in-house or buy here pay here financing, or the business name says so. Advertises bad-credit financing means the website promises bad-credit, no-credit-check, low-down or job-based approval without stating that the dealer itself carries the loan. Financing not verified means there is no website or we could not read it; the dealer appears because Google returns it for buy here pay here searches in that city. Each dealer page shows the evidence and the date it was checked.
The BHPH Finder score. Every dealer carries an editorial score from 1 to 10. Up to 6 points come from Google reputation, weighing the rating by review volume so a 4.6 from 800 reviews outranks a 5.0 from 12. Up to 4 more come from what the dealer's own website verifiably says: a readable website (1), confirmed in-house financing (1) or bad-credit financing (0.5), a printed down payment (0.5), stated credit-bureau reporting (0.5), Sunday opening (0.25) and owner verification (0.75). It is our rating, published as such, and it never changes a dealer's Google rating or reviews, which are shown as attributed excerpts.
Corrections. Anyone can report an error or suggest a listing. Business owners can use the same form to claim or correct their listing. No business pays for placement or ranking.
