Have been a customer since 2005, have a commercial account with the parts Dept. Very upset have lifetime oil changes on my truck, wife took the day off for an oil change service. I was aware of a small leak from the water pump and was sure it would be discovered on the inspection, it was NOT! I inspected the truck when my wife got home and the oil filer was NOT changed, I initial them with a marker just for peace of mind. Very disappointed, called for a manager twice still haven't heard back from them! Beware of Lithia Dodge of Santa Fe! If you can't trust them for a simple oil change what else do they short cut to be lazy! Very disrespectful! Do the job or don't do it at all! Hope this tech is reprimanded for this crap! This gives this dealership a bad reputation!!! ****UPDATE**** THANK YOU JUSTIN SERVICE MANAGER!!! MAKING ME CHANGE MY OUTLOOK OF LITHIA OF SANTA FE. I SHOULD REMEMBER I SHOULDN'T BLAME THE ENTIRE DEALERSHIP FOR THE BAD DEEDS OF A LESS THAN SAVORY EMPLOYEE. THANKS AGAIN I WILL COME BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP AND CONDUCT FUTURE BUSINESS.
I took my Chrysler 300 to get diagnosed for a car horn that would go off intermittently, horn not working from steering wheel and some other lights lit up on my dash on 4/15. I had to take out the fuse out responsible for car horns in my car to get it to stop. They had my car for a week. The only way I could get updates from the dealer was if I called them, and that's if they picked up. I went in person to get an update from my service advisor, Selena, and I was a little frustrated with the lack of communication. She said that my car will be ready soon. Upon pickup, I noticed oily handprints ALL OVER my driver and passenger side sun visors and headliner. They performed a recall my vehicle had without my discretion. My seatbelt wasn't retracting appropriately only to know that they installed it wrong. My copy says that tech 297615 worked on it. I was told that I could leave my car there for more time to fix their mistakes and get it cleaned. They got it about 90% cleaned. My car was given to me in worse condition than when I first gave it to them. Once I came home I noticed that there was a bad door ding on my rear passenger door. I know for a fact that this was done when it was on their lot. It was an awful service. The only somewhat saving grace was that Selena was professional and she was understanding and that I wasn't charged because they couldn't replicate my concern.
I bought a 2025 Jeep Gladiator about a year ago, and about a month ago, while traveling from Santa Fe to Albuquerque, it started having problems. It’s been almost a month now and the car still isn’t ready. They keep telling me something else is wrong with it. They refused to rent me a car or lend me one. I have a disabled daughter, and this is the only car I have to take her to her doctor and hospital appointments. They didn’t care at all. Their service is useless—it only seems to be about lying and dragging things out so the car stays there longer. This is the worst brand I’ve ever bought, and I will never buy this brand again.
After being a loyal Lithia customer for over 20 years, I drove up the street to another dealership and bought there. I won't be back. This dealership says they want to help you purchase a car but can't be bothered with customer service when you attempt to broker a deal. I was definitely in the market to buy, so I did...elsewhere. Staff is unprofessional, dismissive, and could care less if you buy from them. Their finance people are just trying to get rid of old stock instead of letting you select what you are really wanting to purchase. Also, their service department is a joke. They NEVER have appointments. It's ridiculous. Sad to see a place I have long been loyal to go downhill so badly. I won't be back. ***Update*** After seeing the response from the GM, I wanted to add/edit to my response: I had an appointment with David Ramos. I was called no less than 7 times and texted by this company when I started looking online at vehicles. They seemed genuinely interested in selling me a vehicle. I told them the issue I had in the past with their company and they promised to make things right. When my husband and I went to the dealership on Saturday they COULD NOT be bothered to help and were snarky and dismissive to my husband when he went to ask question at the finance desk. So we left. I just bought a brand new Land Rover from an excellent, customer- oriented salesperson up the road. If the GM bothered to look up my name he would see that I have purchased multiple vehicles for myself and husband at Lithia since 2009. But we are done with that.
I bought a Kia k5 gt line back in February 2024. After signing paper, the staff backed it into the building causing damage to the driver front side. This should have been a red flag. They offered to fix it and gave me a rental. I appreciated it at the time. It took two weeks until it was ready. A week after picking it up the Check engine light turned on. I contacted them and they tried to say it was probably nothing but I could schedule an appointment with their service department. I wasn’t able to schedule an appointment until 5 weeks out. During those 5 weeks the acceleration started to give out. It wouldn’t go past 45 mph. I live in Albuquerque and had to make the drive to Saint Fe just for the service advisor to tell me it needed to go to Kia. I drove it all the way back to Albuquerque to Kia where it stayed from April 2024 until November 2024. During this time they did not offer a rental. I had to beg them for a rental and they gave one in June. Lithia gave Kia two faulty parts before they gave a good enough one. Since then, now June 2026 I have had to fix the car on multiple occasions for the same issue. I do not recommend Lithia at all. Please go elsewhere.
