Honda Of Santa Fe

My car took three tries to start last Thursday morning, so I went immediately to the Honda dealer to get it diagnosed. They looked at my car right away, thank goodness it was just the battery. I was in-and-out in an hour! They washed it and filled my tires too. Was really impressed with them.

First visit to to Honda of Santa Fe in years. In and out with oil change, tire rotation and All wheel drive oil. Took 45 minutes with an appointment. They are able to pull my service records from other Honda dealerships which was great. I originally made a appointment with the hondalink app which did not give me any confidence that I actually got the appointment. Honda needs to fix that aspect. Also the AI based phone tree at this Honda dealership needs work, although they did call back immediately after I hung up.

Pleasant staff and the front show room was wonderful, to look at the new cars! Thank you for accommodating us quickly and efficiently. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation - they got the car in and serviced in about an hour (as promised) and reviewed the results of their inspection (tread wear, brakes, etc) and advised that my air filter was about due to be replaced but could wait until next oil change and brake fluid should be flushed (as per maintenance recommendations). I gave 5 stars because the service tech was professional, the work was done on time and they did not try to pressure me into buying additional services!

Unethical business practices – broke their word on waiving the diagnostic fee Avoid this dealership's service department. I brought my 2018 Honda CR-V here for a fuel injector/emissions issue. They charged a $250 diagnostic fee, which I accepted because they explicitly promised that if I had the vehicle repaired at their facility, the $250 fee would be waived and applied toward the repair. The repair estimate came out to a massive $2,806. Because the quote was so high, I contacted Honda of North America directly. Corporate kindly offered a "Goodwill Discount," reducing my out-of-pocket repair cost to $1,000 plus tax. I authorized the repair based on that agreement. However, when it came time to pay, the dealership went back on their word. They refused to waive the original $250 diagnostic fee, claiming that because I received a discount from corporate, they no longer had to honor their own store policy. They essentially penalized me for getting assistance from Honda NA. This is greedy, deceptive, and completely unprofessional. They pocketed an extra $250 by exploiting a corporate goodwill gesture. Because of this bait-and-switch tactic, they have permanently lost a loyal customer. I will never do business with this dealership again, and this experience has entirely ruined my loyalty to the Honda brand. Will notify Honda cooperate.
