We just had a second Audi lease/purchase experience with the Eugene Audi dealership in a just over a year! I must say I was nervous about getting into a brand new Q3 with the full on digital dashboard which would push me out of my comfort zone. The folks at Audi, James, Jacob and Health, made the transition as easy as possible. They also found my car in the color I wanted, picking up the teal beauty from a couple hundred miles away and getting it to us! I’m talking head spins when you see this blue hue amongst all the white and grey cars everywhere. Very very nice! Everyday, I’m feeling more and more comfortable and safe in my new car. **Update** THANK YOU AUDI EUGENE! Sheppard Auto Group. We had the most pleasant car shopping experience at Audi Eugene we have ever had. All of the staff were super courteous and knowledgeable and friendly. We never felt pressured or rushed. I have to give the biggest thank you to Jacob S. & Heath L. in sales for answering all of my questions via email or text. I had many visits since July and my wife and I finally made it in, in December to complete our decision and purchase. They got us the vehicle we wanted, even though it wasn't on their lot, and a great deal to go with it. I don't think I have ever felt so good after signing the paperwork. We also have to give their service department a huge thank you and outstanding review especially Ryan A., for getting an issue resolved with an update to our new vehicle that the previous dealership didn't do before shipping it to Audi Eugene. The Audi Eugene/Sheppard Auto dealership is easy to access, it is clean, well taken care of and offers a great selection of vehicles and outstanding atmosphere. I highly recommend Audi Eugene and the Sheppard Auto Group. We will be back to purchase here again. **Update - we have had the vehicle in 3 times for warranty work. The service department is lacking in communication from the top down with the exception of the time with Ryan A.. Loaner vehicles are always dirty inside and smell terrible. Our vehicle was scratched up during a visit and we never received an apology or any kind of acknowledgement from management, all though they did authorize it to be repaired, which was done well.

It seems the service dept is basically there to extort you or steer you to their vehicle sales by giving embellished repair evaluations. They knew I was stranded with a no-restart countdown for an emissions fault. I left my vehicle with them and the only solution I was offered was a $9000 repair (replace everything). The extended dieselgate retrofit warranty was less than 10k miles out, I asked them to inquire on goodwill coverage from Audi NA after which they claimed they did and were declined. After that I tried to speak to them about specific diagnostics to narrow down the issue and was promptly reassured they followed Audi's diagnostic procedures and there was no other option. They had the nerve to try and sell me tires each time we spoke. They used the mileage countdown as an excuse to weasel their way out of their advertised complimentary wash. I paid their diagnostic fee and used my own VAG COM cable to reset the faults and countdown in their parking lot so I could get home... we are now 3 months and 2000 miles later without issue. They didn't spend any time diagnosing my other concerns with the vehicle. I don't know that any actual "diagnostics" took place at all, based on their recommendation to unnecessarily replace everything. I was willing to spend money to entrust their expertise for a proper repair, however I now believe this service department does not operate in good faith. I was offered no realistic solution, and they were dismissive of my situation even after I demonstrated some technical famility with the issue and vehicle. Any average person in my situation would have absolutely gotten taken for a ride. I started with the word "extort" and based on my experience I suspect that is how they approach a more ignorant customer. Proceed with caution...
