I custom ordered my 2024 corvette Z51 in 2023 for my college graduation at 23y/o. Spent a little over 6 figures on this. Had 2.6 great years with my vehicle. Did all my routine Maintainence on time. Until I brought my car in for a bumper to bumper warranty work a month ago. The rear suspension assembly on the driver side needed replacement and they covered it but shortly under 1k miles the rear axle on the same side gave up and the car is at 36,081 miles now. 81 miles over bumper to bumper. Everything was fine until I had the phone call with the advisor on 6/2/26 the main reason for my 1 star review today. First things first got several accusations instead of solution. You rent your car, you track your car none of which isn’t true, you drive your car in the winter but we submitted a warranty claim hoping it gets approved. Idk why they think my car is a rental. Is it cause it got 36k miles? I didn’t buy my car to keep it as a showpiece like 95% of C8 owners do, also would have bought a 1LT base non Z51 if I was planning on renting instead of custom ordering. And I never tracked my car but I drive it on public cars and the way it’s supposed to be driven with strict Maintainence. Also it’s funny getting track accusations? Are people supposed to track Chevy Malibus then? I did Ron Fellows corvette school Program in Las Vegas and that school showed me the C8’s capacity on a track so that was kind of funny when the lady mention you track your car. Then the winter driving accusation comes. Oh well. Why does it even matter if it’s driven in the winter? Lollllllll what does weather conditions have to do with what the car needs. Also it was barely brought out in winter. Only on nice winter clear days since the car always had summer tires on. Currently on all seasons which are newly put. I spent $4k on the extended bumper to bumper warranty package to get the piece of mind but not get accusations. When my car didn’t need anything no accusations. But all of a sudden it’s a rental car and heavily tracked lol. It’s sad that it’s barely over bumper to bumper coverage and they coming with all the accusations and “hoping warranty gets approved”. I love my car though. I am writing this review at 04:04am 6/3/26 cause the advisor ruined my whole day and sleep. Their job is look at the damage, inspect the damage. Call me, let me know what’s wrong and of course use my extended warranty since that’s what I paid the top dollar for. Instead I get accusations and “HOPE THE WARRANTY APPROVES THE CLAIM” They said they will let me know by Friday-Monday. If I don’t get solutions GM Care will be the next approach. They were nice to me when selling a $100k car but when it needs work it’s accusations after accusations even though you paid top dollar for the extended bumper to bumper warranty package.
