Hertz Car Sales Salt Lake City

We spend several weeks looking for and comparing prices on a 2025 Kia Sportage. Hertz prices were constantly, a minimum of $2,000 less than other dealerships in both Salt Lake and Utah County! It was so refreshing to NOT have to deal with pushy, overbearing salesman! I love their "no haggle" pricing! I definitely recommend Hertz Car Sales!

I spent the past week researching cars for my soon-to-be 16 year-old, and visited a few dealerships. In the end, Hertz was my best option. The Kia Soul that we bought is in absolute pristine condition (I couldn't find a blemish anywhere), and our salesperson, Hayder, was great to work with. Very friendly and helpful, no pressure. He gave us all the time we needed to make our decision. I'm extremely happy with the car we got. Prices DO change from time to time--I assume that Hertz uses data from auctions to automate their pricing (there's no way they could manually price every car), so it doesn't surprise me that some negative reviews talk about prices going up. In my case, the price dropped after I signed the sale documents, but before I had paid and received the car. They adjusted the price accordingly with no fuss. The final price was around $2,000 lower than anything else I could find (although Kia does offer a 10-year, 100,000 mile warranty on certified used Kias, which is MUCH better than buying an extended warranty from Hertz). I don't generally buy extended warranties on my cars. The sales building is not fancy, but it is well-maintained and clean. I like the fact that the price of my car wasn't increased to pay for a fancy dealership.

I had an amazing experience at Hertz Car Sales. This was my first time purchasing a car on my own, and I felt both excited and a bit uncertain—but Xavier and Waldo made the entire process smooth, clear, and stress-free. They were patient, professional, and truly cared about helping me make the best decision. We had already purchased a car with them before, and this experience was just as incredible. Waldo goes above and beyond for his clients. I highly recommend them—5 stars!

My husband and I had a great car shopping experience at Hertz car sales. The sales people were very nice! There was absolutely no pressure or pushiness. Our sales person Hayder just answered any questions we had. He was very helpful! I would recommend hertz for a no pressure car shopping experience!

I really don’t ever write review but this is NEEDED. Do not listen to the positive reviews given here! These guys are super shady. They made it clear from the beginning that they have “No-Haggle Pricing” which I was 1000% fine with. I found a car I liked that was within my budget and wanted to buy it. I wanted to crunch some numbers before making the decision. I called the sales guy named Lucas telling him I’d love to move forward with my car at the price he showed me. I’m a busy professional with many clients so I told him to get all the paperwork ready so when I drive the 30 minutes there we can review and buy the car. I got there and he told me that the price has gone up due to the "auction" pricing. So, we can’t’t haggle prices but they can? We were extremely upset and walked out. This was such a shady car dealership and I’ll never go back to them. The next day they texted me saying: “Hey Maria! Hope all is well! I have been checking our website for you and one of our Tucson’s have dropped in price! Give it a look and let me know if you’d be interested.” LIKE WHAT? Do NOT buy from these guys. They are SHADY.
