The service representatives that helped after my car was checked in were great. Wonderful communication and the service tech went above and beyond to make sure my Momma Ford was in perfect working order. I am from Colorado and the dealerships there have been fine but the service in Ogden was a higher level. I can’t say enough good. They also had to make calls to make sure my warranty was transferred without my involvement which was more than their every day responsibility, but they did it with kindness and diligence. I would recommend Young Ford in Ogden any day. As a side note, we are a Ford family for sure. I have bought 4 FORD escapes. The two I still have are manual transmission. 2006 with 220,000 miles in great condition and a 2010 with 170,000 miles. Their names are Emanuel and Ms. Scarlett. I told my husband that we can’t think f buying a different brand because we always need to use Young Ford.
Jackie at the service Bay at Young Ford on wall in Ogden is amazing she helped me get a seat out of my minivan and yes I have a minivan don't judge me! Anyway Jackie was amazing she helped me right away and she showed me how to get the seat out and it's amazing and I'm so happy and I wish I would have gone to her from the very beginning because it would have saved a lot of frustration so go to Jackie at the Service Center in Ogden on Wall Avenue at Young Ford for All the things that you need!!!!
Had our van serviced here and Jackie was awesome—she took great care of me and handled everything my van needed efficiently. I also really appreciated the video showing what needed to be done and what was still in good shape. It made everything easy to understand and gave me a lot of confidence in the service.
Made an appointment to have a recall done, only to arrive at my appointment and be told that the part is on backorder. I have had this type of problem at other local dealerships so I know it isn't unique but I do wonder why there is no system in place for verifying and honoring the planned appts. Like any business, it seems like knowing you have the parts and employees to get through the next day could be a useful business approach. The employee I did interact with was professional and apologetic. This review does not reflect on her!
It seems widely accepted that dealerships are garbage, but I didn't expect it would be this bad. My mother and I purchased 2025 Bronco Sports on the same day in March. She immediately had front sensor issues which took 6 visits and the request of getting a different vehicle before they actually replaced her sensors. And what they did, by their own admission, was go pull the sensors off another vehicle in the lot to put on her vehicle instead of putting new sensors on hers. So if you bought a vehicle there recently and are having front sensor issues, well, maybe they were shady enough to put hers on yours. Then, a few months later, she made a 10am appt to have some accessories installed and an oil change. We got there at approx 9:30am and we asked if it would be done by 3pm and were told that should be no issue. Well, she tried calling twice leading up to the pickup time of 3pm and left a voicemail and a message with the front desk to call and never heard back. We get there a little after 3 and they had just barely started on it and the girl said she never knew we called. It sat there in their parking lot until after 2pm with nothing being done to it. Worse yet, is they told us it had to sit for 8 hours after install which they never said prior. My mom was having surgery the next day and would be unavailable to drive for a few days. The girl working there also remarked that there were people ahead of us as if that mattered. Why make an appointment if it's first come first serve and the work will just get done whenever, anyway? They offered my mom a vehicle to drive that night and would drive her vehicle to her house the next day and pick up the loan vehicle. When they brought it around for her, it had a low tire pressure warning of 24lbs of air so she went back in and they got her a different vehicle. After her experience, I cancelled my order minus one item which wasn't returnable and cancelled my install appointment of the same items as I didn't want to deal with having a 7:30am appt where nothing gets done until the end of day. I still have not received a refund for the cancelled items and it's been two weeks. Then, I had my oil changed a few days later and when they changed the oil, they didn't re-install all the bolts that hold the front skid plate in place. Kind of important, no? Well, I took it back and informed them of their error and they took it right back and "fixed it". They moved one of the factory silver bolts into the missing bolts location and installed a black bolt into what I'm sure they hoped would be a more inconspicuous spot by the driver side wheel, hoping I wouldn't notice. And they didn't use a washer like all the other bolts have. COOL! I went with my friend and her father to buy a truck here and they are already having negative experiences. I feel bad I brought them to this Ford. I plan on getting a full size Bronco Badlands in a few years and will not be returning here. I will be going to Ed Kenley. I should have talked to my coworkers before buying as three of them have recently purchased there and have no negative stories to tell.
