5 reasons you should buy from a "Mom & Pop" dealership (like Best Chance Auto!): 1. The sticker price is really close to what you're going to pay. (There might be some wiggle room, but they'll tell you what their bottom dollar is. It's not the negotiating game like the loan sharks play.) 2. The walk-out-the-door price is the same as what's on the sticker. No hidden fees like the big dealerships. (This really surprised me!) 3. Familiar local faces - more than likely, it's these guys who will sponsor your t-ball team. Not "TV Commercial Gal." 4. No fight, no fuss. Clint gave me the keys to the truck and said, "Holler when you're done, and we'll talk!" It gave me and my wife privacy to discuss options and intentions while we checked under the hood and kicked the tires. 5. Small town customer care! I had to leave to get the cashier's check from the bank...it took me a couple hours. When I got back, Chance had everything waiting for me. It took less than 5 minutes inside the office to sign papers and get the keys! (Then we chatted for a other 5 minutes about life!) Bonus: As expected from any dealership (but not always practiced), the 4 year old truck I bought looked brand new!!! Absolutely clean - front to back. Super impressed! Clint is your typical used car salesman, seemingly friendly at first then when he sells you their lemon of a car (not advertised as so) he turns his back and doesn’t care about customers whatsoever. I bought an f150 from them and had numerous issues with it, never received any offer from them to make it right after I reached out to them about it. My two issues were within a week of purchase, the AC completely quit and I’m positive that they just recharged it right beside listing so that it would work temporarily, but it needed the whole system redone and I found that out shortly after I bought it. The other issue is an oil pan leak which was not disclosed at all and is difficult to locate on a test drive. I also had a number of issues in addition to those and spent thousands in repairs. First and last time buying from a used car dealer. Absolutely would not recommend them, listen to the other reviews and avoid this place.
