I had an outstanding experience with the Service Department at Jim Norton Chevrolet! On Thursday night, the check engine light came on in my 2025 Chevrolet Equinox, so I scheduled a service appointment online for Friday at 2:00 PM. I called the dealership Friday morning to see if I could bring my vehicle in earlier, and they were incredibly accommodating, allowing me to drop it off at 8:00 AM. When I arrived, everyone in the service department was friendly, professional, and provided exceptional customer service. Since the vehicle was displaying a transmission-related warning, they explained that I should be prepared to be without my car for the entire weekend. I appreciated them setting realistic expectations. To my surprise, they got my Equinox into the shop first thing Friday morning, quickly diagnosed the issue, completed the repair under warranty, and had my vehicle ready by 1:00 PM the very same day! Instead of being without my car all weekend, I was able to enjoy my weekend as planned. I can’t thank the team enough for their excellent communication, fast turnaround, and commitment to taking care of their customers. Awesome service!! Super fast, amazingly convenient!! Lesa showed up on time and rotated tires and did oil change in matter of minutes! Was very pleased and will be using their mobile service from here on! I have been getting my vehicles serviced at Jim Norton Chevrolet for some years now, and I have never felt like they didn't care, they go above and beyond. I can tell that they care and they take their job seriously, and I am so grateful for their outstanding service. I recently purchased a 2026 Chevrolet Trax, and I am sooo very happy with my purchase. The employee interaction was great. The actual work performed was subpar. I checked the first oil change and there was oil all over the frame, oil filter and lines. The oil softened the under coat and now there is bare metal under the engine. The lugs look to be impacted off and on, breaking them loose by hand and torquing would have left less marks. The truck has five matching tires from the factory and the spare, I feel, should have been in the rotation. I was ask to come back for the DEF fill. When the DEF was filled it spilled and the was not totally cleaned up.. This was my first experience with service to any of my vehicles and it was below expectations. If this was an older vehicle I could see the sloppy work, but this a brand new truck with 2800 miles. I have cleaned up the mess and will replace the lugs.
