Fixed my VW bug “Cherry” right up with a very timely transmission fluid change, and took great care of it super quick. Even though she’s not too pretty inside, Amy B. never judged! I’m a first time driver and was very happy to get my car fixed up before making my drive to college. Thank you so much! Amazing service, 10/10 ⭐️☺️
Beau was amazing!!! So helpful!! And Alyssa in finance, perfect!! I couldn't have asked for a more pleasurable experience!! Thank you so much!! I love my new car!
Took my ID 4 for a check. Live 90 miles from town. Made an appointment took my car in all went as scheduled. Service writer was friendly and professional. Was very pleased since I waited for car that the checkup was completed in 45 minutes. Very hsppu
Lithia Volkswagen of Reno delivered the worst example of customer service and integrity I have ever experienced. I dropped my car off for a simple oil change and it returned home on a tow truck. Two hours after i dropped it off, I was told there was a coolant leak on a hose above the oil filter that was “about to fall off.” I was informed the nipple was broken and reattaching was impossible. The only solution offered: a $1,269.61 “repair,” with no alternative options, and I was told not to drive the car. This car had been commuting 60+ miles a day without hesitation and arrived at the dealership without leaving a single drop of coolant anywhere. I did not believe the severity and planned to check it myself. When I picked it up, I was warned again, “My guys say you shouldn’t even drive this.” Sure enough, within a mile of leaving, the engine bay was flooding with coolant, the belt was slipping, power steering failed, and coolant was raining from the soaked hood liner. There was no way I dropped the car off in this condition. Back at the dealership, I met Corey Wild, who turned the situation from bad to worse. When I explained the issue—“I brought it in for an oil change and now it’s undriveable”—his response was, “Prove it.” From there, he piled on excuses: “your car is old,” “we noticed this earlier,” and “you turned down our solution.” His one “offer” was charging me less to fix their mistake, after reviewing my service history to see if I’d “spent enough.” He also repeatedly mocked my choice to maintain my own vehicle and ended by taunting me to pursue legal action. Here’s the proof he demanded: the “hose” was actually a solid line broken in two spots. One break resembled a connection point, but both fractures were documented in their report. Parts do not fail in two separate places at once without outside force. For them to believe it “fell off a nipple,” someone would have had to separate the line into two pieces. I also have video evidence of the car driving fine the night before and being dropped off in the morning—no coolant leaks at all. If this issue had existed, I’d have had to push the car into the bay to avoid flooding their floor. The fraudulent nature of their repair quote is obvious. The OEM replacement part cost $32.96, including shipping. Yet the dealership’s invoice only said “Coolant Repairs” for $1,269.61. Their own courtesy inspection confirms this story. It was performed before the oil change and marked hoses as “green” (no issues). The line in question is front and center on the engine—if it had been broken before, it would have been noted. To be clear: I am not seeking a windfall. This began as a mistake, but it was turned into a dishonest money grab. Corey was right—the car is older—but if a technician breaks a part, the customer should not be subjected to a fraudulent upsell. I only want to be reimbursed for the time and money I spent fixing what they caused. I can provide a no-nonsense invoice for the $32.96 OEM part that resolved the issue completely. Finally, Corey, I see you respond to one-star reviews. Don’t waste your time here. Save your energy for drafting another bogus quote. I refuse to subject myself to any more of your antics. I will only work with someone who is above you. ________________ Thats a great response guys! Its cool to see nobody is courageous enough to put their name to it. I can't believe it took that long to cook up such a weak argument. Yes lets address the previous leak, it was so small your team couldn't locate or offer a fix for it. Dont forget to mention the fact the broken line is practically on top of the oil filter that was being replaced and was no where near the leak from 2024. Also if the vehicle shouldn’t have been driven how did it drive there? I would have had to push it onto the lot if it was brought in the way it left. I am glad we can agree that your only solution was scamming me for half ($600+) for a $30 part. Thank you for putting that in writing!
First thing I want to do is shout out our saleswoman Venus. She was absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcome. Aside from her the entire process was awful. The car had a few small issues but the biggest issue was we started having a coolant smell inside the car a couple days after buying it and the dealership really could not give a damn. They claimed they looked at it and couldn’t find anything but I don’t think they did or they did look at it and realized it was a costly repair and decided to say they couldn’t find anything. When we signed paperwork there was a rock chip they agreed to repair, the chip was unrepairable and required glass replacement. They acted like this was them going above and beyond but it’s baseline what we agreed on in the contract. Also getting the rock ship sorted was a nightmare. I dropped it off one day and they had it all day and waited till I showed up at the dealership to tell us it was unrepairable. Then when we went to drop it off for the glass repair the man who handles that originally told me it would be “a couple hours” and so I waited and waited and waited and 3 hours later my car hadn’t been touched so I went to ask and was then told that it would be an all day thing. This dealership has 0 communication with customers once they’ve purchased a vehicle. If our saleswoman ever goes to a different dealership we would be glad to buy from her again but will never buy from this dealership again.
