I had a great experience buying my used car from Deals on Wheels—Brock was friendly, the process was straightforward, and I drove off the lot happy with my purchase. Not long after, my car was totaled in an accident that left me worried about the remaining loan balance. Thankfully, I had purchased their Limited Protection Policy at the time of sale, which completely covered me. Because of that policy, I was free from any further payments and didn’t have to worry about owing money on a car I no longer had. I would definitely recommend Deals on Wheels to anyone looking for a used vehicle and solid protection options.
Absolutely love working this place. Always super helpful and willing to work with me! Went in yesterday to buy my third vehicle from them. David, Broc, and Missie are amazing and recognized right away and were more than happy to get me into a car I love!
Brock at Deals on Wheels was awesome! My brother and I just picked up a 2007 Honda Fit from him, and the whole process was super smooth. He was really helpful and made sure we got exactly what we needed. We're both really happy with the car and the service we got. Definitely recommend checking them out! He was super friendly and was very eager to help us and make sure we got the process we needed
Just watched with my coworkers as a sales representative went to show and move a truck on the lot from what it looked like it was in order to show a potential buyer. During the process the sales representative back the truck into another car that was not marked with dealership plates. After a short conversation the driver of the car thst was hit drove away. The sales representative proceeded to move the truck. Inspect it for about 5 min and then send another potential buyer on a test drive. When the sales representative was approached and asked if they were still test driving that truck and that everything was watched they smiled and laugh about it as if it was a joke. This is so incredibly shady and outrageous. Not only was nothing filed and done regarding the accident but to then send it out on a test drive right afterwards is rediscover.
I never write reviews but if I can save one person from my nightmare with this company, it's well worth a few minutes of my time. My story... I found myself in dire need of a vehicle as the one I owned finally died. Like most people that go to these kind of car lots, I had bad credit, could not qualify for a traditional car loan, but had steady time on two jobs and stability in my address. Had a friend drive me the 4 hours to Missoula since that lot was the only one that had a vehicle that suited my needs. Drove it home, had no issues there. Shortly after, it was in and out of the shop with major engine problems. I did purchase their extended warranty, but it still cost me $200 every time it had to go to the shop. After many months of making payments on time, I wound up getting sick. Had to quit one job and was in and out of the Dr's office to try and figure out what was going on. I talked to their finance people about reducing my payments. They did, but said they could only do so for three months. My payments would go back up after that time, not only go back up, but increase to make up for the reduced payment time. Long story short, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Had to have major surgery to remove a tumor plus 6 inches of my colon and then had to undergo six months of chemotherepy. Unable to work during this time, I got assistance with paying my rent and utilities, I thought I was doing the right thing and took the vehicle back to their car lot and informed them I could no longer make the payments. They did not have to come and repo it. During my chemo, I received a registered letter stating that the vehicle would be sold and that I would be responsible for the remaining balance of the "loan". They have a seperate entity called Advantage Auto Finance of Missoula....even though the phones are answered "Deals on Wheels". I thought ok, as soon as I hear what the balance is left, I'll make payment arrangements. Well, I NEVER heard anything else until the last month of my chemo when I was served papers that they were sueing. Unable to travel 4 hours to Missoula to go to court because of the chemo, they won a default judgement and immediately started garnishing 25% my paycheck as soon as I started back to work. This car lot does not care about people, it's only concern is how much money they can squeeze out of those who fall into their trap. I sent an email to their attorney in an attempt to make a payment arrangement that I could afford and still pay my rent, utilities and now mountain of medical debt. They're exact reply was, and I quote from the email reply... "Advantage Auto Finance of Missoula, Inc. is not able to accept the $150 biweekly proposal. The wage garnishment is currently producing recovery above that amount, and the writ will remain in place. We would, however, review a written proposal that either (a) resolves the balance through a lump-sum settlement, or (b) provides a guaranteed payment above the amount currently being recovered through the garnishment. Any such arrangement would need to be in writing, and it would not affect the underlying judgment unless and until the balance is paid in full." Just proof that they only care about sqeezing as much as they possibly can from someone. Please, please, please stay as far away from this company as you can!!
