Pro tip: always check the VIN before trusting a listing. I was looking at a 2021 Subaru Outback that the seller proudly described as having a “clean title.” The mileage was low, the photos looked great, and I was getting excited about the deal. So I paid for a CARFAX report… and the very first thing that popped up was a big red SALVAGE TITLE. Turns out the title was about as “clean” as my muddy hiking boot. Moral of the story: don’t trust the description—trust the VIN report.

Be very very cautious buying a car from Walt. He'll lie to you and sell you a car that is bandaged by his buddy from their shop in Burnsville. They are running a scam. RJ bandages the cars and Walt sells them. We bought a Chevy Cruze for our teenage son and when we got home we realized the horn didn't work and there was no spare tire. We texted Walt about it and he told us to get it to his Burnsville shop for the horn to be fixed and to.get the spare tire put in the trunk. The night before we were supposed to bring the car to the shop there was a light that turned on the dash telling us to shut off the engine because the oil pressure was low. We told Walt about it because we were within the 15 days of the warranty that his vehicles are sold with. Again, he told us to get the car to his shop. We couldn't drive the car an hour to their shop in Burnsville so we towed the car to the shop to have all these issues fixed. Nothing was fixed!!! The horn never got fixed, the spare tire was never put in the car, and RJ bandaged the oil problem. After we had the car back for a week from RJ we had a super strong gas smell inside the vehicle that was giving us headaches so we brought the car to our own mechanic and they told us it was the manifold gasket. RJ had to take off this piece to fix the other issue the car had but still put this broken piece back onto the car and sent us on our way rather than fixing ALL the problems and not bandaging them. A couple weeks later....more issues. My 15 year old son was driving his new car and all of a sudden the car smelled hot and started smoking while he was stopped at a stoplight but the temperature gauge never showed the vehicle was hot. How scary! I'm so thankful I was with my son and he wasn't alone and we were able to pull over and shut the vehicle off. Between the horn not working (which is a safety feature) and the car overheating (but the gauge not showing it) this car has been a nightmare and clearly has been bandaged. This will be the 3rd time having the car to a shop in a month. We've reached out to Walt everytime we've had an issue and he has some sort of excuse of why he needs to get back to us or he reads my husband's texts and never respons to him. I would highly recommend NOT buying a vehicle from this place! It's a scam and your vehicle will definitely be in the shop!
