Subaru of Rochester

My experience with Subaru was perfect. Isaiah was welcoming, very professional, kind and helpful. Between Isaiah and Amy, they found the car that I wanted. It came in at a reasonable time and got me on the road. I love my Forester. Subaru in Rochester is an awesome car and company. I would recommend them highly. In fact this is my 5 Subaru.

I found the car I wanted on Cargurus and it was located at Subaru of Rochester in MN. I did everything by text. They worked with me over a couple of days to get the deal I wanted done. The salesman, Gaborik, was helpful in sending a video of the car and pointing out a bonus that hadn't been noted. I had wanted the car delivered to me, but was told they could only deliver 45 miles from the dealership. I luckily have an amazing friend that drove me the 3 + hours it took to get there. Walk through of the tech and car was pretty thorough and, all in all, was a good experience.

Car shopping can be stressful. But Subaru of Rochester made it a remarkably pleasant experience. The staff we dealt with included Jacob Hansen, Jeremiah Steege, Collins Kiyaga, and Amy Anderson. They were all friendly and professional. Jacob and Collins in Sales patiently explained the features of the 2026 Forester we were interested in. Amy discussed the assistance offered to learn about all the technology that comes with vehicles these days. Finally, Jeremiah went through all of the optional protection packages and processed our paperwork efficiently. Unlike many dealers, Jacob at Subaru of Rochester immediately provided us with the out-the-door price via email before we drove the two hours to Rochester. Also, there were no forced dealer add-ons, which still happens at other dealers. Getting the OTD price and no forced add-ons were HUGE to us! If you're looking for a vehicle, we highly recommend Subaru of Rochester. They earned our business with the perfect balance of promoting their products, but with a low-pressure approach. Great job to all!

Sales department was great. Inventory and selection choices for new and slightly used Crosstreks was impressive. Nice to have choices of trim packages and options. Our salesperson (Elliot) was great to work with. His thoroughness and sales style is a big reason why we selected a Subaru instead of going down the road to Toyota. Sale price was fair and trade offer was acceptable. The only negative part of the experience was the pressure exerted by finance to consider extended warranties, which we decided weren’t the best option for us. I felt that part was a little stressful and unnecessary. It’s OK to offer warranties but accept when the customer says “no”. Would be a 5 out of 5 review if not for that part of the experience. If this is a reliable vehicle for us over the next few years we will likely be repeat customers.
