I recently purchased a used Subaru Ascent from Michigan Auto Sales. They were friendly and helpful and I never felt pressured at any point throughout the process. We purchased a second car from Dan because of the great experience we had the 1st time. There was a small issue with the car (CEL) and he addressed it the next day. That's really how you can tell if you are dealing with a good establishment, how they handle things when everything isn't perfect. Would recommend to anyone. I was car shopping a few days ago , cars.com brought up this site, so yesterday I went there to look at a Honda Fit, ended up driving 4 cars, thank you Rick for your patience, drove a low mileage Honda civic Which was within my budget, loved it right away. It was a pleasurable transaction, no pressure or hard sell, answered my questions in a friendly professional manner, so now I have this beauty in my garage. No hesitation in giving them 5stars. I had a great experience at Michigan Auto Sales and want to give Dan 5/5 stars for his help. He was attentive, kind, and patient while helping me through each step. After test driving a few cars and choosing which one I wanted, he worked with me to find the best rate for my car loan and helped with the approval process and everything else I needed help with or had questions on. I also felt like the price of the car was a good deal for the mileage, and he gave me a fair trade-in value for my old car even though it was pretty much a beater. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I’d definitely recommend working with Dan if you’re looking for a car.

Buyer beware!!!! If you are from out of town please do not waste your time or money on gas coming here!!!! There is a reason they are a 4.1 rating and not higher. If I could give them zero stars I would! I called the day before I was planning to come down(I am a hour away) and told them the specific time I was coming the next day and I set up a mechanic inspection as well. So then I took PTO the next day to be able to make it down and have the mechanic check it out and was ready to buy the next day if everything looked okay. I called right before I left to make sure it was still there and told him I was leaving soon to come see it. I drive 30 minutes and he calls to tell me someone else was test driving it and he didn’t know when they would be back. I was very specific that I was in my way. He even said they were out of town as well so he clearly didn’t tell either one of us because all he cared about was selling a car. No real apologies or honoring the fact we had a specific time set up. If you are from out of town do not come here!! You will waste time and gas because he will sell it even if you are on your way!
