Recently purchased a used truck from United. The guys were great to work with. Friendly and not pushy. They let me go at my own pace to have it all checked out and were accommodating on my trade in.

I bought a car from them and went multiple days to check out the car. The first day everything seemed great, everyone was kind and zero pressure. I went back the next day with my dad and sister and stuff was a bit different. They told us they were taking the car off the lot in a day and kinda pressured us to buy it now. They didn’t have much information on the history, how the damage on the car was caused, where they got it, what mods were on it, anything. The car itself so far has been amazing but purchasing it was kinda a weird and stressful process.

I Do Not Recommend this business or used car lot due to my experience this week… I went in to United Auto Sales 3 days ago to look at a VW Beetle that I was seriously interested in buying for my wife as a gift before she got home from a trip. When I got there at 10:45 am, no one was there, so I looked over the car. I then called the number on the business door and spoke to Michael, who told me he’d call or text me when he got back to the office in about 30 - 45 min. I also told him the car had a flat tire, and that I was wanting to take it for a test ride when we met up. Well, I waited for almost 2 hrs, and didn’t get a call, so I drove back to the lot to see if he was there. When I got there, Michael and his business partner/co-owner were in the office, so I introduced myself and asked if he got the tire fixed so i could take it for a test ride. Well, unfortunately, he forgot what car I called about and the tire was not repaired. But come to find out, the car was owned by his co-owner, and do we proceeded to talk about the car, which the owner knew nothing about (engine size, history, features, etc…) Not good for a car lot?? And he labeled it as a “Super Beetle”, when it was not. I then asked about getting the tire fixed so I could take it for a test ride, in which he was reluctant to do because he didn’t want people test driving it. He just kept reassuring me the car was fine?? What kind of car dealership doesn’t let you test drive a car before purchasing it? I told him I was a serious buyer, and that I had CASH on me to buy the car if it drove well, and nothing major was wrong…. He still wasn’t very friendly or eager to get the tire fixed so I could test drive it. He then told me they had to leave and go sign documents, and would be back around 4. I told them I wanted to buy the car that day if it drove well, so I could surprise my wife when she came home that evening. So I left my name and number AGAIN, and I never heard back from them that day or the next day. Michael seemed to want to try and make something happen, but was unable to due to the co-owner. This lack of care and concern for a customer who had cash in hand was mind boggling and unacceptable. I don’t see how they stay in business.
