I would strongly advise anyone considering doing business with Driven Motors LLC in Jacksonville, Florida, to proceed with extreme caution. I purchased a 2013 Volkswagen Passat through an online auction website for $4,590 using the Buy It Now option. Before completing the purchase, I called the dealership and was specifically told that the vehicle ran and drove great and had just been repaired by their mechanic. I was then told the vehicle had been delivered to the auction site and was ready for pickup. When I arrived, the vehicle was not there. I ended up driving to the dealership itself, despite the fact that they seemed very reluctant to have me come there in the first place, which should have been a red flag. After several phone calls and a great deal of hesitation, I was finally given the key. When I started the vehicle, smoke immediately began pouring from under the hood, out of the exhaust, and even through the A/C vents inside the car. To make matters worse, the vehicle would not move under its own power. I went back inside and calmly gave them the opportunity to take the vehicle back, arbitrate the sale, and refund my money since the condition of the car was completely different from what had been represented to me. They refused. In my opinion, I was repeatedly misled throughout this transaction. The vehicle was not remotely in the condition described, and the dealership showed no interest in making the situation right. Their current rating should be a warning sign to potential buyers. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Driven Motors LLC to anyone. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and buy from a dealership that values honesty and customer service.

Avoid Driven Motors LLC at all costs. I purchased a 2014 Hyundai Sonata on 02/21/2026, and after only 562 miles, the car completely shut down. It had to be towed back on 03/03/2026. This alone shows the vehicle was not in good condition when sold. Kevin promised the car would be repaired, but that promise meant nothing. The dealership has now kept my vehicle for over two months with no repair, no proof of work, and no timeline. Meanwhile, I’ve been forced to keep making car payments and paying insurance on a car I don’t even have. I’ve been left without transportation while they hold my car and do nothing. To make things worse, after months of waiting, Kevin now says he will not repair the car, cannot put me in another vehicle, and refuses to put anything in writing. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. This experience feels like misrepresentation and a complete lack of accountability. Selling a car that breaks down after 562 miles and then refusing to fix it or resolve the situation is not how a legitimate business operates. I strongly warn anyone considering this dealership: do not trust their promises. You may end up paying for a car you cannot even drive.

Beware of broken promises at Driven Motors. They were very helpful until the papers were signed, but once the deal was done, the promises they made to my husband were conveniently forgotten. Dealing with kevin has been a runaround. If you decide to buy here, do not take their word for anything or you may end up in the same position we are in. UPDATE: After filing multiple complaints with the Florida DMV, I learned that the dealership had sold the vehicle while the car was still on their lot by the way without ever contacting or notifying my husband, even though he had been waiting for the repairs they promised. Please read these reviews and understand this company is no good. Kevin is NOT to be trusted, he even played with my son during the sale while having a deceitful heart. After doing wrong to such a good family who works hard, KARMA will hit them harder.

I am a single mom and purchased a car from this dishonest and crooked man! He said the car ran and drove, gave me the run around for two days and then when I picked up the car the motor was smoking and barely had enough power to drive. Didn’t even get out of his parking lot and he wouldn’t refund my money! Buyers beware!!!

Absolutely terrible experience overall. Firstly the customer service was terrible. Secondly they lied to me about a car that was “running perfect” and had “no issues” but ended up being blown up. If I could give them a zero, I would not recommend you do business with these guys they are sketchy.
