Bought a car from this place and overall the experience was very good. The car had an issue after I took it home but they were great about fixing it. Lonnie, the service guy is the man. I also really like that I can manage the car payments directly though carmax and not a third party app or company. The service and process was very streamlined and painless. I would definitely buy another car from here. The only things I didn't like are that the guy who sold me the car, Caleb, did not return my calls about the issue, but the general manager was very responsive so I appreciate him. They also did not wash the car before I got it which I thought was the least they could have done.

I end up purchasing the vehicle almost 5 years ago I was still paying on it. Nothing but a hassle. Karlmax was really horrible. Back then, they had a good course. But service and people and employees are horrible. Had number trouble, the car was damaged too close to 8 months to just get it fixed. Back light, it was cracked so somebody trying to glue it together, and it was licking water in.It took dim almost a year to replace it. And not only took two minutes to just change the light . But we end up buying another car 2 days ago. From milanex, Ford, I recommend people to go up there. They are great people. It's a real dealership. Now the car exchange like a car, Max?

My experience with CarMax in Mobile was a complete disaster. I drove three hours for a car that wasn't as advertised when I arrived. Key issues weren't disclosed: the paint was peeling off the front bumper, the windshield was cracked, and the car hadn't been cleaned properly. I had pre approval online, but the salesman still forgot to put the temporary tag on, and the gas tank was only partially filled. When I complained to the manager, she was dismissive and rude. Promised follow up on the windshield never happened. I will never do business with them again, am returning the vehicle, and will be contacting corporate to demand compensation for this inconvenience.
