Dorsch Auto Credit has been really great with me. I came to them while in the very early stages of rebuilding my credit and they worked with me to get a car that I really like and I was able to leave with it the same day I stopped by with my sister and her husband. I noticed an issue with one of my taillights very soon after I got it. They were really awesome covering the diagnostic and repairing the one taillight. I look forward to eventually being able to shop in Dorsch's normal lot the next time I buy a car. They really try to do what they can to help you out, especially at your lowest when you're trying to work on coming back up. Added help of having the 2 year warranty on major repairs. I highly recommend for anyone who is working on rebuilding your credit and looking or needing a car to check out Dorsh Auto Credit.
Let me tell you about Dorsch Ford in Green Bay Wisconsin on the east side. 21 months ago I signed a contract for a 2017 Ford escape SE with 86,000 miles on it. Very beautiful vehicle. It was financed thru there "low/bad" credit program and my down payment was substantial ($3,000). In 21 months I have never missed my payments or paid late. When I first got this car I brought it back to them six times while it was still under warranty, and told them there was something wrong with it and they told me that that was the turbo and that's how it should sound (was actually transmission going out). Now 21 months later the car's transmission is shot! I made an appointment and brought it in and tried to trade it into them with yet another $1,200 down yesterday and they refused and really only offered me $4,000 for a car they're charging me $20,000 for! It's an understatement to say that there actions are unethical and disgraceful. My car was supposed to be blue certified! My mechanic said the transmission fluid had never been changed in its lifetime! I had a tie rod go out, trailing arms go out, transmission go out, had to replace windshield because of deep scratches over entire window, headlight after headlight I could go on and on and that was in the first 6 months of owning the car..And yes I came home yesterday and made my car payment on a car I can't use $307.00 a month (I'm on disability). I'm not putting this review on because I'm mad, I'm doing it to deter you from making the same mistake I made. They are NOT loyal to any of their customers. Unfortunate I am saddled with a car they clearly knew had a bad transmission and I live up in the north woods. They should be ashamed of themselves but these brothers that own Dorsch don't give a damn about anyone but themselves. Karma..
Dorsch Auto Credit is one of the most predatory, dishonest, and incompetent dealerships I’ve ever encountered. They sold me a 2014 Kia Optima for $16,000 at 24.9% interest, and the car immediately developed electrical issues so severe it wouldn’t start for two weeks. Because of that, I lost my job — and when I told them this, their “solution” was to demand an extra $100 per week to get caught up. Before I even had a fair chance to fix the situation, they sent a repo notice. And to make it even more insulting, the car’s real trade‑in value is only $800–$1,500. That says everything about how blatantly they exploit customers under the fake label of a “hardship program.” If you care at all about your finances, your stability, or being treated like a human being, avoid Dorsch Auto Credit completely. This place doesn’t help people — it takes advantage of them.
Bought a car from here 9 months ago, a 2013 Passat. Car was plagued with issues from the get go. Heater core failure within 6 days of me purchasing the car, which they covered. Every issue i had from December 2024 to February 2025 was a constant battle with their main service department on the Auto Credit’s “2-year warranty” that was placed on the car. Not to mention the predatory 20+% interest rate. Had to fork close to $2,000 over in new suspension parts within the past 60 days. When i called George at their Ford sales department to consider their a return of business since this car is through Dorsch Auto Credit. Gavin from the Auto Credit division returned my call and was pressuring me to try and stay in the car for another year when the car most likely wont make it another year without seeing a scrapyard. During said phone call, he said it would be impossible to get into a new vehicle until that time, I tried stressing to him the urgency of the situation as the car is wrecking my financial stability, his only response was to lash out at me and hang up the phone. Truly unprofessional people and I will not be returning to this dealership nor be recommending people to Dorsch Ford & KIA or Dorsch Auto Credit.
I financed a used vehicle from their car dealership just to be told the day of the sale that everything was new in the car, only to find out 8 months later that when they sold me the car and did their vehicle inspection, a used engine that was bad was put into the vehicle, not a new one. My engine failed, and they were very unprofessional and rude about the entire situation, as if it was my fault. I asked to receive a callback from the owner; I never received a callback, and it’s been a week since my car was placed in the shop for repairs. Also, I asked if they would get me a loaner car. I was told absolutely not and was hung up on. Lastly, save yourself the trouble and multiple car trips to get several repairs.
