Have you ever had a dealership call you, tell you that you're approved, come on down, and then find out they can't approve you for some reason? I have and it's not fun. When I got the call from Mr. Marker, he said come down, you're approved. He meant it!! Test drive, signatures, money down and I was on my way, happily driving the vehicle I wanted!! I highly recommend them!!

Chase was so welcoming he greeted us at the front door, very accommodating, showed us several trucks. Worked with us thru every aspect of buying a truck. Will recommend they to everyone

Benny Morton is the type of dealer you see in bad movies about sleezy car dealers. Benny Morton should have seen that this was a bad sale and should have walked away from it. I'm clearly at fault for not walking away myself. Every time I look at this vehicle, I will feel angry, sad and swindled, and I will think of Benny Morton and Joe Holland. I will have to look at this car and think about how Benny Morton and Joe Holland screwed me for as long as I have it. The only reason Benny made this sale is because he took advantage of my autistic partner who was having a panic attack, and leaving would have made my partner's panic attacks worse. I have lived in WV for 4 years and purchased 3 vehicles from Joe Holland. My first two experiences were fine, but I'll never purchase another vehicle here for as long as they employ such a dishonest individual. Benny pulled out a vehicle for us to look at. When I pointed out that both front tires were obviously flat, he said "impossible, I just put air in them". They were not just low- they were flat. A blind person could have seen that the tires were flat. He looked at the tires and was surprised to see that they were, in fact, flat. He then tried to claim that they weren't actually flat because the vehicle's tire pressure light wasn't on, but this model is known for having a faulty tire pressure detection system and we could physically see that the tires were flat. So Benny aired up the tires and we took it for a spin. When we got back, Benny stated that the tires were new. I asked how they could be new when they had just been aired up twice, and he claimed that he not only never said that the tires had already been aired up, but that he did not have any knowledge of the tires before putting air in them for us. Knowing that this model was known for having a faulty tire pressure detection system, and knowing that these tires would need to be replaced, I asked Benny if he could take anything off the price for us. The price he gave us was $18 (eighteen dollars) lower than the price listed on the website, and he pretended that he got us a huge deal and got us hundreds off the vehicle. No intelligent salesperson would sell to an unhappy customer, and at this point my partner was very clearly having a mental breakdown and my face definitely showed that I was pissed. So, here you go, Benny, thank you for lying to me multiple times and trying to pretend that I'm a liar for calling you out for lying. How is such a dishonest individual even allowed to work here? I will be telling all of my friends about this experience at Joe Holland.

I brought my wife and my 76 year old disabled father to Joe Holland Chevrolet on Feb 5, 2021 to purchase a certified pre-owned car. I had been speaking to Jeremy, a car salesman, for a few days and was already pre-approved for a specific car and I was ready to buy. I had OVER 5 thousand cash on me to use as a down payment and had every bit of my paperwork in order. I had my best friend drop us off because I knew I would be driving home in the car. It was right at 4:30 PM when we walked in the door at the dealers. I went to the counter and asked for Jeremy but instead of getting Jeremy another salesman by the name of Chase came up and introduced himself and basically insisted on helping us. I didn't feel right about that because Jeremy had already got me pre-approved and did all the "leg work", for lack of a better term. Chase proceeded to inform us that the car I was pre-approved for was not a good enough car and that we needed a newer, more expensive car (of course) and that car was a 2017 Hyundai Sonata. We ended up taking the Hyundai for a test drive , without the Chase in the car. I never gave this a second thought. Well, when we got back from the test drive, no more than 10 minutes later, the entire dealership was closed. Door were locked and EVERY single salesman, including Chase was GONE. We had no way home and it was snowing and dark and my father is on a cane. I have never been treated so inhumanely in all my life. My wife was crying. There was 1 guy in the building waiting to take the keys from me. It was the most horrible experience I have ever had at a retail establishment. The next day we drove to Huntington. A 45 minute drive each way. We had spoken to a gentleman at Moses Honda where my wife had seen an Acura RDX on their website ad she instantly fell in love with the vehicle. We were treated so good at Moses Honda. They had the Acura RDX inside on the showroom floor with a big red bow on the hood. The salesman had all of our paperwork ready and waiting for us. They offered us coffee, snacks and even had a seat warmer for my disabled father while we waited for the paperwork to be completed. We drove home in the Acura RDX and it is the nicest car I've ever bought (so far). I hope Mr. Joe Holland himself reads this review and understands that his salesman let a cash sale walk out the door because he was apparently in such a hurry to leave on Friday night. I will never go back there and I have told many people about the way we were treated. I hope this can be a training tool for your team at Joe Holland. Statistically, most people would be willing to pay more out-of-pocket if they were to get a salesman that had excellent people-skills. I have been a General Manager for a large corporation for over 25 years and I can tell you that from experience alone. My final statement is this- my wife went back to Joe Holland 2 days later to retrieve our paperwork that the salesman, Chase, still had in his possession when he left us on that test drive. As he handed her the paperwork he found it necessary to pull out his cellphone, scroll through his text messages and point out to her that on the Wednesday prior to our Friday appointment he sent a text message telling her that the dealership closed at 6 or 6:30 (I honestly cannot remember). My point is that he felt it was necessary to justify himself. At NO point during that entire time he was there talking to me, and at no time prior to me driving away in the Hyundai did he EVER say, " We will be closing at xxx time" or "I have to leave at XX time" or anything of the sort. Poor customer service, unprofessional and just plain old rude treatment is definitely not what I expected from a dealership that advertises Christian values.
