H&R automotive tried to sell my wife a 2019 with 149k miles for 28k with a 8k down payment my wife has a 640 credit score and they said she needed her and my credit score combined in order to qualify for the 2019 149k miles and 8k down I was glad my wife took my advice when I told her the vehicles were way over priced and her credit alone was enough to get a 20k vehicle with 2500 down from H&R and anywhere else but they did bad business there is a guy who works there he makes tiktok videos and has a lot of followers telling them they can get a vehicle from them for 1k down no matter what and that was bull I told him about the 2019 with 149k miles was over priced 28k with 8k down was a horrible deal and he couldn't help us out they got upset when I told them the vehicle with 149k miles 2019 blue book value was only worth 10-15k at the high end and they didnt like that they were upset I told them my job as a man was to make sure my wife did not get taken advantage of and that I was not trying to be difficult I was just letting them know what my research told me so instead we went to hill county Honda with David and got a 2022 VW suv for 20k with 70k miles and 3k down with a 640 credit score I told them about the 2019 with 149k miles for 28k and 8 k down and they said they couldn't believe it and they were glad we didn't perchace the vehicle. My wife with her credit of 640 was enough to get the VW from hill country Honda my wife could have gotten any vehicle from hill country Honda but she liked the VW suv so she got it. I was really dissatisfied with H&R automotive.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT buy from this dealership. They do not respond by text or call unless it's for a sale. The sales person, "Cowboy" Jasper, is incompetent & ignorant regarding the vehicles he's selling. The BBB rating for this dealership had an F RATING due to no response regarding complaints. My issue is quite literally they sold me a LEMON. I haven't had the vehicle a year & its constantly being towed, not working, being fixed or not fixed. Who knows because they DO NOT RESPOND. My elderly mother & I, a single parent, put a down payment of $1000.00 each to help my son who just had a baby. We haven't had the car a whole year & it's been towed 4 times, repaired (so they say). We've already paid over $6000 in repairs. If we had that $ I could have purchased a new car. Right now it's again at the dealership since it broke down on April 25, 2026. AGAIN THEY DO NOT RESPOND to calls or texts for even an update. It's been an on going living nightmare. Literally ongoing. I really hope this post detures anyone else from patronizing these CROOKS!

We had bad experience with this dealer, my husband went to finance a truck and 3 weeks later they called saying loan was not approved we took the truck back and they refused to refund the downpayment. Mention to them I will file a claim with DMV and said they were going to refund the money to my bank account it never happened and they keep refusing to do the refund of $2k. I will definitely file the claim with DMV. We also never got a call or a letter from a bank explaining the reasons of not approving the loan.

The service department is trash. It took 2 days to get a hold of someone. I was told I still have free oil changes come in they tried to charge me $100. Then the tech got oil and dirt all over my pink rugs didn’t bother to care they destroyed my rugs. I will NEVER recommend them EVER.

Horrible experience made me waste my time. I follow one of their salesman on social media (tiktok: @moyassad) and got convinced to give them a try. Drove from Waco to San Antonio which is a 3 hour drive and asked for Moises and he passed me to another person. When he came to check up on us we expressed that we aren’t getting helped like he reassured us. He then told us he would personally take over and help us out, which he never did a damn thing. After asking about the in house financing he then proceeds to tell us that that’s only for San Antonio residence which is total bs when he told everyone that no matter what he can help you. All a bunch a damn lies to just get you here. Ended up leaving since they couldn’t approve us for anything until we said ok the we will take out business elsewhere then they come back and say oh we can get you into a car but it’s had to be a Santa Fe which isn’t the car we came for. I called the jeep dealership near my house and approved us for a new Wagoneer only 5k down. Don’t bother with this unprofessional dealership. Especially from Moises.
