TL; DR: Ruby Motors LLC is a great family business run by a nice couple. It's a fantastic used car lot with reliable and affordable used cars that last. I received awesome customer service with a personal touch. This is one of the best used car dealerships in the Portland area. My sales experience felt like person to person, not corporation to buyer. I had a really good experience with Ruby Motors LLC. This place feels like the kind of honest local used car dealerships and that is hard to find. I drove through the parking lot and didn't see anyone so I started to leave, when Julio saw me and met me as I was driving out. It was great to see a smiling welcoming face. I made an appointment for a nice Honda I wanted to possibly purchase, and the next day they had the car parked in front right at my appointment time ready for a test drive! If you're looking for a used car with no "money pit" problems, I would highly recommend this dealership. I wasn't looking for a brand new $30,000 car, I want something practical, reliable, and useful. I have had a bad experience in the past with a small lot purchase, so I was a little cautious, but I have been very satisfied with my purchase! I've taken my new Honda out and already put many miles on it including highway driving. It was a great purchase from here! Financing the car was easy, Tasney, Julio's wife, helped with all the paperwork and I was out of the dealership and onto the rest of my day very quickly. The transaction felt personal. They were very friendly, and I felt like I was doing business with a family owned dealership whose owners genuinely care about their customers. If i want to buy another car in the future, I will come back here!

I've dreaded the process of getting a (new to me) vehicle but the time came & after doing a little digging online, I found the kind folks at Ruby Motors. After selecting a few cars to test drive, I made an appointment and Julio was easy going, sincere & did not try at any point to talk me into anything- just answered questions honestly & let me drive. The car's immaculate condition, clean carmax report & fair pricing sold itself & Tasney made the paperwork side of things a breeze between me and my credit union. I did not anticipate walking in and out with a vehicle in less than 2 hours, but it was that easy. They gave me an offer on my broken down Honda that I fully anticipated getting nothing for & came to get it from my house which was not particularly nearby, which felt like an above and beyond move. I took a stack of business cards (on my own, I might add) because this experience eliminated a lot of my anxiety and discomfort about this sort of financial leap. Good, honest business people deserve to stay in business 👌🏻

Had a great experience buying a Car from RubyMotors in March! The Car was exactly as described, the dealership super friendly and the whole process super structured and well organized. When i run into problems (unrelated to the purchase) with the car over a month later, they were super welcoming and tried to help as good as possible! i can recommend buying a car there!

Never did I ever think I'd be writing a review about what a pleasant experience I had buying a used car. But, that's exactly what's happening! Julio and Tasney (the owners) were a delight to meet and work with, and they made the entire process shockingly easy. The price of the car was very fair, and the purchase comes with a 3 month warranty. I found a minor issue with the interior of the car shortly after driving it home and I was able to bring it in the next day and have it repaired within minutes at no charge, even though this was not technically part of the warranty. Julio and Tasney are two of the rare individuals who actually follow the mantra "treat others as you'd like to be treated," and I'd happily buy from them in the future.
