Hometown Chillicothe

Highly recommend the entire staff at hometown! Manager Austin Champman is absolutely great and also Bobby Nye who helped me find the jeep of my dreams. They did everything to get me into what I wanted! They did so great my husband came back a few days later and got himself a 4 runner as well! They always put the costumers 1st and dedicated even on there days off! They treat you as family and not just another sale! I highly recommended everyone that’s looking for a new or upgrade to take a visit here! They definitely have my business for future as well!

I had been in the market for a new (used) car for a while as mine was reaching the end of its life. I had spent the last year or so looking into different cars that were in my price range but kept coming up short. My dad has always talked highly of Hometown but I live in Dayton and don’t make it down to Chillicothe often. I just happened to be in town this past Monday so he asked me to come take a look at a few of the cars they had in my price range. I spent about a half an hour looking at a few different cars and with Selena’s help I was able to find one that was in my budget and checked all the boxes for what I needed! Selena and everyone else at Hometown were so kind. I never felt pressured or rushed into buying a car and I loved that the atmosphere was laid back but still professional. I love my new Hyundai and am very happy with my experience at Hometown. Thank you Selena for making the whole process so enjoyable :)

Be extra careful when not in a vehicle!! June 3rd, 2024 - it happened again. This time by the gentleman in the photo with the Equinox. He claimed he isn't required to stop when exiting a parking lot and entering a roadway with traffic because he's been "driving for 44 years." Curiously, all of the employees from the other businesses in this area seem to fully understand applicable traffic laws. Since this second incident, two sherrif vehicles and a local police patrol vehicle have had to patrol the area. Surprisingly, there have been no incidents whatsoever while they are present. - Original review - On the morning of May 24, an employee ran me off the road (bicycle) while speeding up to swerve around a turning vehicle. All while driving a vehicle that had zero tags at all. (no dealer plate to allow it on the road) When discussing the incident with the business, the GM allowed the offending employee to tell me why I shouldn't have been in front of him on my bicycle while also telling me this was his apology. The employee admitted to unnecessarily accelerating to swerve left of center to illegally pass a turning vehicle while also running me off the road in the process (again, somehow my fault?). The GM didn't seem to have any concern that his employee was acting this way. I can't speak to their prices, but any business that allows employees to behave this way is one that should probably be avoided.

Thought a had a nice car but turns out it isn’t. They told me the car had a clean Carfax and it didn’t. I had some work done on it and come to find out the car was in a very bad wreck. Now the work I’m having done on it can’t be done right. I do not recommend going here.
