110 Northchase Dr, Charlotte, NC 28213What do customers say about Planet Buy Here Pay Here?
I recently visited Planet Mitsubishi and as I am a repeat customer I can easily say the service is just as good or even BETTER than it usually is. Absolutely ZERO pressure to buy a car, no encouragement on using their financing. Just an easy, cool, peaceful and even fun visit. I've yet to buy my next car from there as I've put it off a week but let's just say I didn't hold off so I could shop around. I have zero interest in being pressured to buy anything from anywhere else. As far as I'm concerned this is the only dealership anyone should need to visit. Also, ask for Big B, the Greatest Of All Time. Best salesman I've ever worked with. Literally I cannot wait to come back.
Planet Mitsubishi Management and Deveron, As a single mother of four, I trusted your assurances that you could assist me with obtaining a dependable vehicle for my family. When I first spoke with you, I explained clearly what I had to offer—my employment, my down payment, and, most importantly, that I did not want my credit pulled unnecessarily. Despite this, I was persuaded to come in, test drive a vehicle, and spend hours at your dealership, only for my credit to be run without delivering the promised results. I later received follow-up emails asking to run my credit again. This is not only disheartening but raises serious questions about the true purpose behind repeated inquiries. According to research, dealerships often earn commission or “dealer reserve” from lenders by marking up interest rates or steering financing applications through multiple channels. Studies published in Marketing Science and economics research confirm that lenders encourage dealers to use these tactics, which can directly harm consumers by raising costs and damaging credit scores unnecessarily. The real reason for many credit checks is not simply “finding the best bank” but often maximizing dealership profit through discretionary interest-rate markups and lender kickbacks. This practice has been documented as disproportionately harming vulnerable consumers, including women and minority buyers. As someone seeking only safe, reliable transportation for her children, I feel coerced and misled by the process I experienced at Planet Mitsubishi. Transparency should mean: One consented credit inquiry, within a single window, not repeated pulls. Disclosure of the lender’s buy-rate and any dealer markup/commission. A good-faith effort to connect me to financing that truly matches what was promised. I am asking Planet Mitsubishi to review this matter seriously. Practices that place families at risk, waste consumer time, and harm credit—particularly after clear communication about consent—must stop.
Liars bottom line. I will never step foot on this lot again. After I said I liked the vehicle he made and offer which he said I need to accept or it won't be there tomorrow. I refused because he did not give me the Carfax report. He said it was good no wrecks or accidents involved and he'll throw in a GPS navigator. However in the test drive I saw a few dings in the car. When I was ready to leave he finally gave me a report. The report was not for the car shown. When he called for my decision I told him that since he was dishonest about the car from denying me the report to giving me one for different model I can't do business with them. Then since I signed a agreement I have to take the car.
This is the worse service every and when they do wrong and know that its wrong they brush you off like you are nobody and they got your money. I haven't even had a car for 2 weeks first day check engine light came on, took it back up, they said they don't turn the light off by the time I left the dealer ship not even a mile the light back on again. Then the car started shaking real bad took it back they said that they had to go back and balance the tires. let me remind you check engine light still on and I have went to auto zone and they told me what was wrong with the car I tried I took the car back and told them what they said. Then I went to see my parents to show them a good job I did for my first time getting a car on my own, the tire rode and lugs missing. I cant get to it because the car has rims with a key that I didn't receive with the car. So I had to call my insurance company and add roadside assistance to get the car towed to the dealer ship. They wanted me to pay to get the tire fix when they the only one been working on the tires they already didn't balance right. I don't even have a key to get to change the tire so if I had a flat I would be stuck. Couple days after that the I had to buy a hose and thermostat for the car, after I pay for part and someone to fix it the car still ran hot check engine light still on and car cut off in middle of street and wouldn't crank back up. This guy help me and move car out road and he looked and it and said that the fuel pump was gone out. And by me not having the car more then 30 days and they have worked on the car more then 3 to 4 times I can fail law suit for what they call the lemon law. I have contacted legal aid about this matter because they talking about they going to work on the car first thing Monday morning but all the let downs this car as giving me along with check engine light since day one, tire could have killed me and my unborn and 5 year, they think I want this car back after I gave them 1500.00 down for a dried up prum. I know its tax time but dang I car about my life they wouldn't want no one sale there wife or daughter a piece crap car with a check engine light on. Now im back to square one after putting trust in this company finding my kid away back and fourth to school in the cold, getting him back and fourth to doctor with his health conditions, asthma and respiratoy failure, and myself getting back and fourth to my prenatal appointments. And I keep telling the sales I feel like you don't sold me a bs car he keep telling me no I wouldn't do that to you and your kids, and I don't want to see you on the bus this a good car good on gas and so on, everytime something go wrong its we got you, but yet when I bring the car they want me to pay. naw I may be a female and don't know much about cars but I refuse to be treated like im stupid of a fool. They said if they cant get me in another car because they will cut me a check on 3/2/2015 if not im going to call the lawyer back that I have spoken with and the call the media back as well. Both told me to give them opportunity.
Spoke on the phone about the vehicles they had available and got there they had none of the vehicles. It was a waste of time and disappointing. The team showed no sense of urgency and was to relaxed for my taste. We worked with a salesperson who lacked listening skills.
