​"I must admit I was very discouraged, fearing my water pump would not be covered by my warranty, as my past experiences with extended warranties have always been a disappointment. Because the water pump was connected to the timing chain, every shop I called quoted me around $3,000. I had the car towed to my friend's garage, and on my way home, I asked Trevor just in case if it might be covered. Trevor told me it was and recommended that I do the timing chain as well for an additional $300. I was so pleased! ​I had other issues with the car that I assumed weren't covered, so I planned to have them fixed by my mechanic after the water pump was done. However, when Trevor contacted me with an update, I asked if he would mind putting the car on the lift to diagnose a clunking sound I’d been hearing. Trevor told me it was already fixed! He went through the entire car looking for anything my warranty would cover and, without hesitation, took care of it. ​He was incredibly helpful and clearly knows his stuff. He even swapped out an alternator I had just replaced—because I was originally told it wasn't covered—and found it was actually defective; that part alone was $600. He also took the time to track down a minor electrical issue that wasn't covered under warranty. He spent two days testing and tracing everything just to let me know it was my PCM. The Ford dealership wanted $1,200 just to diagnose that! Trevor saved me that $1,200 and suggested I look for a pre-programmed unit online. I found the part, programmed to my VIN, for less than $200. ​My car is running so well now. The clunking and swaying are gone, and it drives like the day I bought it. This dealership is the only one that got me approved when every other 'guaranteed credit approval' place failed. My situation was unique—I had purchased a lemon previously, the check engine light came on during the ride home, and I had made 12 monthly payments on a car I couldn't drive. I returned the car the following morning and paid on it for a year aften then just stopped paying and ruined my credit. The car showed on my credit I still owned it...no repo or nothing but had missed every payment for 4 years. The sales rep i want to say his name was scott... don't quote me but white guy with a bald head...knew exactly which dealership I had bought that car from and had a lender specifically for my situation! I worked with Devin Edwards when looking to purchase a used vehicle from Best Buy Auto Sales. He gave top-notch service through our two weeks of in-person and text interactions, helped me as I considered various options and worked through the terms of my credit union loan, and was always attentive and available when needed. This dealership is fairly honest, as much as you can expect from a dealership, and they price their cars reasonably and do not gouge you. They do not try to strongarm or rush you in any way as you consider your purchase either. The one caveat is if you are interested in buying a used car, you may have to place down a security deposit and wait for them to prepare it through the shop, but they will explain that it's mainly because they actually prepare their vehicles properly to ensure they are not selling you a piece of crap, and they can't immediately do that for every vehicle without someone expressing interest. While no dealer is perfect in this sense and an independent inspection is always necessary before purchasing a used vehicle, I have definitely been passed some much shoddier vehicles at some other dealerships I tried which seem to do less thorough work. Although I ended up going in an entirely different direction with my car search, I highly recommend Best Buy Auto Sales.
