Went to buy a pre owned Outlander. Everything was pleasant until after we signed the paperwork( it helped that I have a very very high credit score). I test drove it. Brakes were very soft. When I stated that to the salesman he assured me that the car would be completely gone through and it would be addressed. We signed. The salesman Chris turned to my wife and said " Good thing the other guy(? ) wasn't here, you would have gotten the vehicle for 1000 bucks less". We were pretty floored like ok you screwed us? I go to pick up the car a week later on the scheduled date. It's not ready. It will be ready end of day, they had not gotten to it yet. I get the car end of day and brakes are still soft, gas tank empty. Go to put in gas- no gas cap not sure how that gets missed on a checklist. (The car shuts down without one after so many miles) On way to work, brakes are dangerously soft. The tire pressure alert goes off. All four tires have slow leaks. Brought it back they fix brakes and valve stems, it took four days as they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I got it back yesterday. This morning, the TPMS alert on again. My experience has been most unpleasant. I do not recommend buying a vehicle here. It is clear that Service dialed in the original check of the car. One star because you can't give a zero.
