5 out of 5 car purchase. I own a small business doing pre purchase inspections on cars- Lake Effect Car Hunters. I am extremely picky about what cars I buy and their condition. I drove 3.5 hours out to Albany to this place to buy a manual Subaru Forester. It was priced well and they had supposedly gone through and done a bunch of work to it to make it really road ready. When I arrived everything was great.. Car was as advertised.. except.. The alignment was way off. Likely because they had just replaced the front passenger lower control arm. The manager asked me to wait a few minutes because I was otherwise still interested. These guys went and got it aligned at a different local shop while I went and got dinner. Didn't even mention the cost. Then filled up the tank to full on their way back. That's delivering and going above and beyond. I worked with 3 different guys. They all worked as a team. They aren't fighting over commissions. They work together. This was one of the best parts. No sleezy sakese guy lies here at all. I loved that my car was fully serviced and taken care of. Made it so easy on me. I heard one of the guys- helping an older lady as I was waiting. If he didn't know an answer- he told her. He was also up front that that particular car hadn't yet been worked on.. Unlike mine which had been there longer. He looked up the mpg for her instead of ball parking off top of his head. Just.. Absolutely not your average car buying experience. I go to a ton of car dealerships for my work. These guys totally delivered. 2016 Forester premium Manual 105k miles $12300 Most importantly- my business is only a year old. I had a heck of a time financing a vehicle- even at this price point- even with good credit. These guys got me an interest rate over 6% lower than my previous quote and my personal credit union denied me and wanted 2 full years of pay and taxes. It was a long day driving out there.. Driving back.. but it was a good day and it was worth it.

We had an awesome experience buying a first car for our daughter. Rome was low-pressure from the start, and ultimately we found a car that suited our needs. Exit5 took care of the small imperfections on the outside of the car, so it would be perfect for gifting. The buying process was fast and easy. I purchased a Mazda from Exit5 this week, it was an amazing experience. Jeremy was very helpful, responsive and I loved dealing with him for the entire process. They're true to their "No pressure" motto, I was never pushed to buy anything through the whole process. The cars were in great condition and they showed me their whole garage (you'd have no idea something that big is back there) and they work on a lot of cars there. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking to buy a car.

They had zero reason to help us but they did! And they did not charge us extra! Great group of trustworthy people! We needed to transport a personal car from Utah to Albany and they helped!!! Everyone I spoke with was so kind and helpful. They explained the process and did everything to ease any concerns I had with the transport of our car. They did not charge us any extra for the help. The shop is clean and the cars on the lot are all in great condition. I would not hesitate to do business (sale or service) with them!
