Reliable Nissan

We recently purchased a Nissan Rogue, and while the process took quite a while (we were there for about 7 hours 😅), Karina was wonderful throughout the entire experience. She stayed patient, friendly, and helpful from beginning to end, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. We also want to give a shoutout to Adrian Tenorio, the manager we worked with who helped get everything started on the right foot. Karina and Adrian’s professionalism and positive attitude made a long day much more enjoyable. Thank you, Karina and Adrian, for all your hard work. We really appreciate everything you did for us, and we love the Rogue!

Abdul is the BEST!! Me and my family have been working with him for 12 years. I couldn't ask for a better sales man. He alway goes above and beyond. Also, my finance lady Sophia was also amazing. He was very knowledgeable of all the product and gave me all the information I needed to make my decision. Exceptional service from Destiny! I cannot recommend Destiny at Reliable Nissan enough! She recently assisted both my son and me with two separate new car purchases, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. Destiny is incredibly knowledgeable about the Nissan lineup and was patient with all our questions, making us feel completely comfortable and at ease during the negotiations. She was always quick to respond to my calls and emails, and her follow-up after the sales to ensure we were both satisfied customers really set her apart. Her professionalism and genuine helpfulness are top-notch. She truly represents the dealership well, and I believe she deserves special recognition from management for her hard work. 1-Star Review I am writing this review to share my experience with the service department and to encourage future customers to carefully review their invoices before approving any bill. Before scheduling my appointment, I called multiple times to inquire about the cost of a transmission fluid service and an oil change. During my initial call, I was quoted $249.95 for the transmission fluid service and $74.95 for the oil change. Based on those quoted prices, I planned to bring my vehicle in that weekend. Prior to my appointment, I called again to confirm both my appointment and the pricing. During that conversation, I was told that the transmission fluid service had increased to approximately $300. When I asked how the price could have changed in only a few days, the representative stated that he did not know and suggested I speak with a manager. I explained that I had received the original quote only a few days earlier, but he maintained that the pricing had changed and advised me to call back on Monday. On Monday, I contacted the service department and spoke with Lorena. I explained the conflicting information I had received over the weekend, and she confirmed the original pricing of $249.95, which gave me confidence to move forward with the appointment. When I arrived for service, I met with Manny. He quoted the transmission fluid service at one dollar less than my original quote, but he quoted $91.95 for the oil change, which was $20 higher than the previously confirmed price of $74.95. When I questioned the difference, he asked who had provided the quote. After I gave him the name, he responded by saying, “Oh, you got the special pricing.” This explanation was confusing, especially since there was a pricing display visible behind the service counter listing service prices. After leaving my vehicle, I was told it would be ready within a few hours. Later, I received a text message with an electronic estimate requesting approval or denial of additional recommended services. While reviewing the itemized estimate, I noticed an additional shop fee of approximately $48.05 that had never been disclosed during any of my conversations regarding pricing. While I understand that many repair facilities charge shop fees, I believe those fees should be disclosed upfront when providing a quote rather than appearing unexpectedly on the final estimate. When I asked Manny about the charge, he explained that it was calculated as a percentage of the overall estimated repairs, including the additional services that had been recommended. I pointed out that I had declined all of the additional recommended services, so it did not make sense for the shop fee to be based on work that was not being performed. During that discussion, Manny stated, “I’m not going to fight over a couple bucks,” which I found to be dismissive and unprofessional considering I was simply asking for transparency regarding my bill. Before that conversation, my total invoice was approximately $397. After questioning the shop fee calculation and explaining that I had declined the additional services, my bill was somehow reduced to $365.90. This raised even more concerns about how the charges were being calculated in the first place. Overall, my experience left me with concerns about inconsistent pricing, lack of transparency, and billing practices that changed depending on who I spoke with. I strongly encourage anyone bringing their vehicle here for service to carefully review every line item on their estimate and invoice before signing or approving any work. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning to Reliable Nissan for future service.
