I drove from Bradenton, Florida and bought this 1977 Custom Harley-Davidson Sportster from Chris at Gulf Coast Exotics. After getting it home I rode it only to discover it was burning oil but yet I love this bike and I knew going in I was buying As-Is and there was a risk of it having some kinks considering it’s practically 50 years old. Chris was a super cool guy the whole time I was there making the transaction and when he learned I was already having issues with the bike upon returning home he was as disappointed as I was. Long story short, Chris stood behind the sale and made it right with me which is a far cry from what most dealers would have done buying used, he genuinely felt the bike was in tip top shape as I did.
