Fantastic experience selling our 2018 Tahoe. Online estimate was at the high end of kbb trade in. Made an appointment at the Gulfport store. Was in and out in less than an hour with a check for the exact amount of the initial on line estimate. Highly recommend CarMax and the Gulfport team. Professional and efficient.

Just got through purchasing a car at CarMax for my wife and wanted to say what a great experience it was. From start to finish. Very straightforward and easy process. But the best experience was first working with Lauren to get the process started and helping us with the test drive. She was WONDERFUL!! So nice and friendly. She made us want to do business here. Then we went back in the afternoon to do the paperwork and pick up the car. Khenedi helped us with that. She also was WONDERFUL!! She was also so nice and friendly. Explained everything so thoroughly.to finish things up, I have to say that these two girls are such bright lights. So sweet and kind. CarMax is very lucky to have these two employed with them. So thank you Lauren and Khenedi for such a wonderful buying experience. 😁

Had a GREAT experience here! They helped us get into a new car and we were able to sell our old car for a very good price! Did everything online the night before and then got approved and spent about an hour or 2 in the dealership and was a quick and easy process! Yolanda was so amazing! Definitely recommend her!

July 2026: I appreciated the clean, hassle-free, no pressure environment of the CarMax NorthShore (trade-in quote) and Gulfport locations (trade-in and purchase.) I did not appreciate the lack of transparency on “imperfections” of the purchased vehicle, 2024 Kia Forte GT-Line. The passenger side door ding was disclosed in pics on CarMax.com but the obvious damage of attempts to pry open the driver side front door for locked keys was not disclosed. Also, two small (non-disclosed) windshield chips are proficient and I worry those will grow larger. I should have test drove and inspected the vehicle but I was not offered or given the opportunity until it was time to sign the papers for my trade-in and purchase. I essentially purchased this car sight unseen based on pictures in the CarMax app. This is my second vehicle purchase from CarMax in the last 12 years. Also, this Kia was not detailed or thoroughly cleaned prior to purchase. I drove home to Mandeville, La. from the CarMax Gulfport, MS. and these issues became evident.
