I purchased a 2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. I absolutely love it. There were a couple of issues, they were completely honest with me about them. They were quite easy fixes. Forrest was very helpful and very personable. I referred my granddaughter to them and she bought a 2016 Chevy Malibu. Unfortunately there was a problem the next day, they were very helpful in getting it resolved and reimbursed her for the cost of the fix. I would HIGHLY recommend Boardwalk Auto to anyone that asks. I've actually been asked where I got my Jeep, I'm only too happy to recommend Brian and Forrest. I will definitely point friends and family in their direction.

I recently bought this 2007 Hummer H2. I called and talked with Forrest about the condition of it and what was wrong, what was needed, etc. I went and picked it up at night during a snow storm, so signed papers handed over the cash and went on my way. That is where I went wrong. Here's the list of items that were never disclosed. Blend door actuator doesn't work, so no defrost or floor of blowing air. Clock spring is bad, so service air bag light is on and no steering wheel lights.(Dealer must disclose this information when it comes to airbags)(lawyers love these cases, MN Statutes Trade Regulations, Consumer Protection ch.324-341) Cracked dash. Drivers power seat doesnt move back n forth. Crease in passenger door above the H2 emblem. Passenger rear door handle broken HOLY MOLD INFESTATION Passenger side roof trim broken Passenger side roof metal next to windshield damaged. Passenger and driver's side windshield edge moldings both bad and silicone all over. (Windshield company will not replace until that is all addressed, or they wont warranty the install) Most of the interior lighting is not working, not a big deal just wasn't disclosed. Brake booster needs replacement, bad pulsating when hitting brakes quickly. Was told the front end could be addressed at some point, once we got it in the air its very loose. Rear shocks are bad. And it still needs new tires(which they did tell me) I get it, its an older GM vehicle that will need some work. But to leave all those items out is bad. Was told those items weren't on the inspection....maybe time for a change there. Ive owned over 150+ vehicles personally, been in the car business for 25 years this year and have never been taken this bad. Then to be told everything it needs would only take a couple hundred to fix is insane. But hey its "rust free", instead of how can we make this right. They seem like very nice guys just buyers make sure to look at everything carefully before purchasing. Had I looked at this in the day light I would've walked away. Paid $9661, way too much. Adding to this since they responded. Forrest let me know about a check engine light and that was it for lights, nothing about an air bag light. It was pitch black outside, I never inspected it, which I stated above. We did negotiate over the phone and then made the deal over the phone taking his word for it. That is a common occurrence in the car world. We should be able to take peoples word on things vs always having to have eyes on things.
