We have bought a ton of cars from CarMax but this last one was by far the best. John Eisner was the best to work with and was patient with us finding the perfect car for us. It was phenomenal and I couldn't be more grateful to work with him. Additionally, we had the best service experience we've ever had. Simon was amazing to work with, was thorough in his explanation and felt like he did a good job addressing any concerns we had. We also connected with Doug the technician who reached out to better understand some concerns and he took care of everything perfectly. Trevor the Service Manager was amazing to work with, as well. The car buying and service experience was truly iconic. Major shout out to John, Simon, Doug and Trevor!!!

Impressive in several different ways! We entered, and "Chris" greeted us with a pleasant conversation and a genuine smile! "Michael" was our salesman and a spectacular person that was well rounded! He helped us find our vehicle and is knowledgeable about all the vehicles! We looked at several vehicles, but he helped us decide! Fantastic care from the beginning to the end! Very impressive! We had financing set up, but the ease and great rates they Carmax was a win! The care that Michael took was wonderful and made the process incredibly easy! Carmax made buying a car a pleasant situation. It has been a long time since I’ve had to buy a car and I was a little nervous about going to Carmax or any other dealer as far as that goes. However, after the deal was put together everything was absolutely above board and great they made me feel very comfortable with the process. They even help me find a car difference in the one that I was really looking for it or since for me so I would say that I would recommend Carmax to anyone looking for a car

I am a first-time Carmax customer and I am compelled to comment on my experience. I recently purchased my Audi from a Carmax in California and drove it back to Kansas. I then took it into a third-party mechanic for an inspection since the car was new to me and had 50K miles on it at time of purchase. A few items were found in the inspection process. Since I was still under the 30 day warranty period, I contacted Merriam Carmax to discuss the repairs. I promptly received a follow up call from Trevor Guyton, the service manager, who then followed up directly with the third party auto shop to discuss the inspection results. Trevor informed that all the repair work would be covered by Carmax. Carmax immediately got the repairs going and kept me informed all the way through. Trevor and Carmax treated me incredibly well. I will be making all future car purchases from this dealership. Thanks Trevor!

I randomly thought of CarMax when I was trying to figure out how to sell our Kia. We had recently gotten it from my sister, but we didn’t really need it anymore. I put my information into the CarMax website, and they immediately prompted me to schedule an appointment. Surprisingly, they had availability the very next day. We did show up late, so we ended up waiting for quite a while before being seen. But once they finally got to us, the process moved quickly and the quote they gave us was honestly better than I expected. Our offer was good for seven days, and they told us we could come back anytime without an appointment. When we returned, we once again waited for hours and to be honest that’s really my only complaint. The waiting times definitely need improvement or better organization. But aside from that, everything else went smoothly. They even helped us with a vehicle power of attorney since the car wasn’t in our name. We walked out with our tags, a check in hand, and said goodbye to our “Snow White.” Overall, the experience was positive, but the long waits kept it from being perfect. If they streamlined that part, it would’ve been an easy five‑star visit.
