Such a positive experience all around, from Molly to Steve, Brent, Dane, and KC. Steve went above and beyond, building trust all along the way. I bought a car (which is now my favorite of all time) from 1800 miles away, sight unseen. A leap of faith for sure! Steve took videos and pictures of the car so that I felt comfortable with its reliability, performance, handling, and appearance. Maintenance records were clear and provided, they handled the title transfer, and followed up to see how the delivery went. SO happy with my Infiniti G37 convertible! Truly grateful! Pics included, credit to McGrath
I had a great experience with McGrath Chevyland on their used car lot. I came in with a car in mind and Steve Phury did all he could to make sure I had the car I loved at the price I needed. I appreciated him working with us and getting the best deal possible. The experience was very smooth and as quick as buying a car can be.
Buying a car has always been something I dreaded because every experience I’ve had in the past felt stressful and full of pressure. However.. This experience completely changed that. Cody was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was honest, straightforward, personable, and genuinely listened to what I wanted. I came in with a very strict budget, and he never tried to steer me toward something outside of it. He made the entire process feel comfortable instead of overwhelming, and I truly appreciated how easy he was to work with. After I picked my car, Riley handled all of the financing and paperwork. This is usually the part I hate the most because I’ve always felt pressured into buying extra warranties. While he explained all of the available options, he was incredibly respectful and never made me feel pressured. I told him the monthly payment I couldn’t go over, and he worked hard to fit GAP insurance into my budget while also getting me three free oil changes. He was kind, easygoing, and made what is usually the most stressful part of buying a car feel easy. The entire team made what I expected to be a stressful day into a fun and exciting experience from start to finish. I left feeling like they cared more about helping me than making a sale. I absolutely recommend these two to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle
(see below edit for the original review - I promise it encompasses both locations) Edit: Anthony Gallagher reached out to me. He's a manager of the VW location with authorization to take care of situations like mine. He's done his best to make things as right as he could and ensure that we were shown that we were valued customers. I cannot, in good faith, raise this to a 5 star or remove my original review for record's sake... However, I will absolutely say that he bridged a major gap today and did make up for much of what happened. Thank you, Anthony. ~~~~~~~~ If you'd like to know why I refuse to give a 5 star despite my review (after this first section), see my review on the McGrath VW reviews. It boils down to a salesperson at McGrath VW lied with "We got you." and they most definitely do not. Andy at THIS location is why I'm even giving 2 (edit: now 3) stars. I wanted to give a one star. I wanted to copy / paste my review from the VW location and call it a day. However, while Andy and the people in service deserve faaaaar more than 2 (3*) stars, I cannot, right now, find it in my heart to do so. They were helpful and saw to it that my son's car was fixed and apologized for the inconvenience and frustration of a lie none of them had anything to do with. They were personable and professional and empathetic. Unfortunately, none of us feel it's enough to repair the trust and confidence that's been shattered by the other location.
I use this location for fleet service on my work truck, and my experience has been mixed. There have been times when the service was excellent, with great communication, regular updates, and detailed multipoint inspection reports with videos. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was very different. I dropped my vehicle off for a 7:00 a.m. appointment on Friday and told my service advisor they had all day with it. I simply asked for an update by the end of the day, but I never received one. On Monday, I had to call to check on the status and was told the vehicle was being worked on and that I would hear back by noon. When noon came and went without an update, I called again and was told the technician assigned to my vehicle wasn’t in that day, so it wouldn’t be worked on and would instead be ready by the end of the day Tuesday. In the end, my vehicle spent about three days in the shop, and I had to reach out each time to find out what was going on. I also noticed the vehicle was returned with all four tires low on air, and my windshield wiper strip is hanging on by a thread which makes me question whether the multipoint inspection was actually completed. I know this shop is capable of providing excellent service because I’ve experienced it before. I just hope they can be more consistent with communication and follow through in the future.
