I stopped into a Chevy dealership recently “just to look” you know, the classic move you make when life throws you a curveball… or in my case, totals your dream truck and sends you straight into a midlife crisis 😅. Right away, I was greeted by Mike Yerke, and I’ve got to say.. this was not your typical dealership experience. He treated me like a person, not a dollar sign. From the start, he let me do all the talking and actually listened, which is rare these days. I made it clear I wasn’t necessarily there to buy anything (more like emotionally process my loss while sitting in newer, shinier trucks), and he didn’t pressure me one bit. He was patient, understanding, and just genuinely easy to talk to. Honestly, if all car sales experiences were like this, people might actually enjoy going to dealerships.. even during a midlife crisis. Big thanks to big Mike for making a potentially stressful situation feel relaxed and even a little enjoyable. When I’m ready to dive into a new vehicle again, he’ll definitely be my first stop.
We were fortunate to have Sheila help us get into a new Trailblazer. Her skills were on display as she shared different models and the options associated with each. We were very satisfied with the experience and the team’s input to help make the experience stress free.

Zach Zerbe was absolutely fabulous. He was patient with me and explained everything in great detail. I have bought many brand new SUV’s and nobody explained the controls and options like Zach did. If you’re looking to buy a vehicle I would go see Zach at DeFouw. He’ll be straight forward with you.
