I purchased my car in October of 2025. Since then, every few weeks, it was in the shop for an engine light, leaking oil, stopping randomly on the side of the road with no warning even on the highway. I have spent so much money on rental cars once they keep my car in the shop for days. Only to give it back it it not last a month. As a single mom with little support, I trusted and relied on the sales people, the admin people, and even the service department for help. Often crying on the phone out of helplessness begging for help. Today, I spoke to a manager as yesterday, my car stopped on the highway 3 times on 45 minutes. The manager was short, no empathy, he was inpatient and he hang up on me 3 times. I’m so confused and I don’t know what to do or where to go from here. I really feel that they sold me a bad car on purpose and now do not care what happens. For those of you buying from them, please do your research so you do not end up like me.

First off I'd like to start with they ask you to do the review while your sitting there signing the paper work so of course its good reviews ppl are excited to be getting a car. However I would never recommend these ppl to my worst enemy. They don't offer refinancing, they will fix your car but its going to be in the shop for weeks while they are still demanding a payment. One time my car was there for work a payment was due they turned if off via kill switch and wouldnt even complete the work until I made a payment. The kill switch thats on the car is not on there correctly every single time they turn it off the engine light comes on engine power reduce it begins smoking like crazy from the exhaust pipes as well as from under the hood. Since ive bought this car I have yet to successfully drive it on the highway (2016 Malibu LT) ive paid numerous times for them to fix the same issue over and over and over while maintaining payments. Ive asked numerous times for them to adjust and correct how the kill switch it on the car because its killing the car buttt no nothing they know exactly what they are doing and they are hoping as little ppl as possible can complete their lease so they can resell and scam the next person. If you want to go to Joe's I recommend Joe's East much better service 10x times better
