Avoid, especially if you're a woman without backup I want to share my experience at Landmark Chrysler Jeep Fiat in Springfield because I don't want anyone else to go through this. My purchase took hours. At a certain point my boyfriend, who had been with me, had to leave. The salesperson never actually explained any of the add-on products to me - no real walkthrough of what they were, what they cost, or whether I wanted them. But when I got to the finance office, the finance manager acted as though all of that had already been covered, because the salesperson had apparently told him he'd "already gone over everything with me." He hadn't. So I sat across from a finance manager who believed I'd already agreed to everything, pressuring me to just sign, while I was alone, exhausted, and trying to figure out what I was even being asked to approve. By that point I understood, for the first time, how people end up agreeing to things - even confessing to things - that they wouldn't otherwise agree to, simply to make the pressure stop. I left having signed for thousands of dollars in add-on products I never wanted and never had explained to me. The day after my purchase, I emailed my salesperson requesting cancellation of the add-ons I was entitled to cancel. That was over two weeks ago. I have never received a response - not to that email, a follow-up, or an email I sent directly to the General Manager. I've had to file written cancellation requests directly with the contract administrators myself, and just filled complaints with the Illinois Attorney General and Secretary of State because the dealership won't respond at all. If you're a woman considering this dealership, please bring backup and do not let yourself be separated from them during the finance process. Make sure every add-on is explained to YOU directly before you go to finance - don't assume anyone told the finance office the truth. And budget extra time to fight for any cancellations afterward, because based on my experience, no one here will help you.
