Purchased my 1990 Mazda Miata from here, my Miata has been extremely reliable, had the vehicle inspected and nothing out of the ordinary chassis is clean and no major rust, based on my vehicle and my experience Rockford auto group seems to take the time to check out and inspect the vehicles amazingly well. The costumer service was spectacular, Jovanny has very straightforward and the process was easy, this dealership is a bit of a distance from me and he accommodated me to be able to take a test drive and talk about numbers. He also help me check how much a delivery for the vehicle would be, over all my experience was extraordinary and enjoyable. Thank you for your above and beyond costumer service.

Our company transported a vehicle from California to Illinois for this dealership. After delivery, the dealership canceled the payment check for the transport service. We have made multiple attempts to resolve the issue and have been in contact with their office, but have not received a satisfactory response. This review is a warning to other auto transporters: exercise caution when doing business with this dealer. Transport companies play an important role in getting vehicles onto dealership lots for sale, and we expect to be treated fairly and paid for completed services. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend doing business with this dealership until they address their outstanding payment obligations.

I approach life’s challenges as opportunities to learn, and unfortunately, this experience has been a significant lesson. Based on what I have gone through, I will not be purchasing a vehicle from this location again. While the vehicle initially appeared to be in good condition and performed well for the first three months, it has since proven to be highly unreliable. Since July, the car has been in and out of the shop repeatedly and has required two engine replacements, along with replacements of the alternator, thermostat, and radiator. Despite these extensive repairs, I have not been able to use my vehicle consistently. Although these repairs have been processed under warranty, I have incurred multiple deductible expenses. Not to mention the other repairs I have gotten done that didn’t get covered under warranty. However, the financial aspect is not my primary concern. The ongoing lack of reliability and the inability to depend on my vehicle for daily use is unacceptable. I have also spoken directly with the owner regarding these concerns. The only solutions offered have been to continue bringing the car in for inspection or to consider a possible trade-in. Neither option is reasonable given the circumstances. I originally came to this location in good faith, seeking a reliable vehicle, and was assured that is exactly what I would receive. Instead, I have experienced ongoing issues that have created more inconvenience than I had prior to purchasing this car. Additionally, I am aware of two other individuals who purchased vehicles from this same location and are currently experiencing similar issues. They have expressed concerns but are hesitant to come forward or leave a review. This pattern raises serious concerns about the quality of vehicles being sold and the overall customer experience at this dealership. So with all that being said, all I can say is if you’re looking for a good reliable car even if you have to pay a little bit more go with a brand new car at a dealership where they can offer you 10 years bumper-to-bumper. It may be a little bit more money, but it will save you more in the long run than what I’m experiencing now. #Lessonlearned Oh, and my car is in the shop again for like the 6th time now, maybe? & I’ve only owned it for about a year now since I purchased it in April 2025.
