I want to share my experience with this dealership because the way this situation was handled was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. After negotiating on a truck, I was informed that a deposit was required to secure the vehicle. I agreed to make the deposit and followed through as requested. However, by the end of the same day, I was contacted and told the truck had been sold to another buyer. The explanation given was that another individual had already been in discussions about the truck. What makes this difficult to understand is that, from my understanding, no deposit had been placed by that buyer at the time I made mine. If a deposit is truly what secures a vehicle, then the dealership should honor the first customer who met that requirement. What is most frustrating is the lack of consistency, communication, and accountability throughout the process. If the vehicle was already effectively committed to another buyer, that should have been clearly communicated upfront instead of encouraging me to move forward with a deposit. I understand dealerships have multiple interested buyers on vehicles, but professionalism and transparency matter. Customers deserve honest communication and fair treatment, especially when money and agreements are involved. Very disappointed with how this was handled and the lack of a reasonable explanation afterward.
