I would strongly caution anyone considering financing through bridgecrest or purchasing from drivetime. I was sold a vehicle that became a financial nightmare. The car, a 2015 , suffered an engine failure tied to the well-known manufacturer defect issues these vehicles have faced. When the engine blew, the warranty claim was denied because there were no properly recorded oil change records from before I owned the vehicle. As the buyer, I was left paying thousands of dollars out of pocket just to get the car running well enough to trade it in. Despite maintaining the vehicle during my ownership, I was stuck dealing with the consequences of poor prior maintenance history and a company that offered no real support. In the end, I had to roll approximately $7,000 of negative equity into another vehicle just to escape the situation. On top of that, the financing terms through Bridgecrest were some of the worst I have ever experienced. Extremely high rates, poor vehicle quality, and zero accountability when serious issues happen. Buyers beware. Do your research before financing through Bridgecrest or buying from DriveTime. I will never buy from or recommend either company again.
