Central florida Auto Trader

I am from out of town and I was stranded on the side of the road near this shop. I went to O'Reilly's across the street and they diagnosed the alternator. I bought the alternator but had nobody to install it so I could make it 150 miles back home.Central Florida Auto Trader was recommended by the manager Manny at O'Reilly's. I stopped in and even though they were already busy and had cars in both bays, they put me in front and for a reasonable charge changed out my alternator while I waited. They were a Godsend as I had already been on the side of the road for 2 hours with my dog. They were kind and friendly.

Sold me a car with the check engine light brought it back three times charge me for work that I didn’t need my motor went out not even a year later worst place to buy a car ever the mechanic is unprofessional I don’t think he has a license to do mechanic the owners play stupid when you ask questions never buy a car there

He promise everything (and deny nothing) when you buy a car, but continuously evades, do not keep any promises. I went to buy a 2008 Honda Odyssey. Probably It was heavily abused by previous owners, lots of wears and tears. Also there were engine leaks and several other engine issues. He told me that the vehicle is 100% solid to drive anywhere in the world. I did not like it because of the tears (especially the seats and armrests), but he told me that he will fix everything; even he gives 3 days warranty. Since it was evening and the shop is about to close, I paid full and stayed the night at a nearby hotel. On the next morning, when went to get the vehicle, it won't start; the battery is dead. He replaced with a used battery. When I was driving to home, suddenly I noticed that the steering is very hard. I was driving on the highway, somehow I managed to come home. I called him about the issue, he told me that he will fix with a local mechanic, he never give me any mechanic info after several attempts by calling him. I took it to mechanic and a $500 repair needed to replace the power steering pressure hose replacement. Then suddenly the starter is dead, another $400 repair. After some days, the alternator is gone, another $400 repair, and it goes on, power steering pump replacement, etc. etc. Another thing want to mention, he removed the engine cover when showing me the engine but forgot to put it again. After coming back to home, I called him to ship it to my address, he told me he will ship today. Never shipped. I called at least 5 different days in 2 month interval and everyday he promised he will ship it today or tomorrow; that never happened. I had to drive 4 hours to take that engine cover. I would like to suggest people to avoid this shop at any cost. They promises the world, delivers an egg.

Sold me a car with a bad transmission, brakes, and control arms. They said they would replace the transmission, they replaced it and messed up the the brakes I had fixed before allowing them to replace transmission and did not do a realignment which is necessary after dropping a transmission so I had to immediately take back to the shop and cost $120 for what I already fixed. They said they would mail a check for the $120 and never did. Then the starter suddenly went bad after I allowed them to replace transmission. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE. They are rude, inconsiderate, and liars!!!

I had a concern when I was buying a vehicle there and they said they would fix it. When I came back to purchase the vehicle it still was not fixed. They allowed me a two-day warranty to go and get my mechanic to check it out and I confirmed the heater core was bad. I brought it back to them said to fix it or give me my money back. When I come to pick it up it turns out it was stolen right off the lot! The doors were unlocked and the keys were left in it! Then they tried to coach me on what to say to my car insurance! Sounds kind of fishy to me and it sounds like they arranged it to be stolen so they didn't have to deal with me. I will never recommend them to anyone and I will never go back there.
