Bought a SUV from them. Buying process was smooth and easy . When you go there you have to register with $400 (refundable if you don’t buy anything) . Then go to auction and bid . Some car go way above the market price. If you buy anything car then you go to registration. No tax collected there. You can pay with credit card but you have to pay 3% fee. For cash or certified check no fee. There’s a $300 buying fee also . And registration fee $85. So $385 on top of your car price . You also have to show your insurance (don’t have to add the car in the insurance) . Once you complete the registration you have to wait little bit for the title and key . The whole process was pretty smooth . Didn’t had any problem. Employees were professional and helpful . So far the car I bought didn’t had any issue. *One thing draw my attention. Some car were sold when I was there and then in the next week they were back in the auction. But it has nothing to do with me.
Had a great time here. I like auctions. Word of advice, know what your looking for. Cars posted no later than Wednesday with the Vin. Due you due diligence in checking Vin, etc. Got 2016 volkswagon cc and 2008 lexus rx350 for 8000. They look and drive great. Repairs done once diagnostics done to sensors on vw $ 1,380. and maintenance for Lexus $1,410. Great buy. No car payments. FYI codes were showing on both cars we brought so we knew we were going to take them to the dealer for diagnostics.
Definitely a wide range of vehicles to choose from, spacious show room for viewing prior to purchasing, friendly and knowledgeable staff and services. It was my very first visit and I made a purchase that was good...already thinking about revisiting in the future.
I purchased this 2018 F150 Lariat Eco boost from this auction for $14,000 with 130,000 miles on it. So it appeared that was a great deal until I took it to the dealer and the oil pan was cracked, timing chain broke, bearings no good, sunroof stuck, barely any oil in the car which caused other problems because it was clear the previous owner let the oil go dry. I know it’s an As-Is auction but this place is for experienced people who know about cars because I found out that this auction is where dealers send cars that are too expensive to fix so the unassuming customer sees a nice outside and inside but even the OBD-2 scanners would not have picked these problems up on my truck but lesson learned. If u go here looking for cars rest assured your buying someone else headache and to inform u guys…it cost me $8,000 to repair this vehicle and that wasn’t even the dealer, I just let the dealer diagnose the problem s. Go to an auction who have green light cars and warranty
Place is a JOKE !!! we bought a truck for my daughter's first car and it needs an engine and rear differential. The ck engine light had been reset long enough to get it through the auction before it came back on. I'm on disability and spent every penny I had to buy this truck and now it's a pile of junk in my driveway. Never buy from there !!! I get it's a auction ect ect but between the seller ( Jay's auto sales in NJ ) which can't even be found online so it's probably some BS name they use and the auction place themselves shouldn't be allowed to sell crap like this without disclosing the issues.
