Saw a good deal on a toyota truck. Asked about the condition of the frame. He told me excelent condition. I drove 90 mins to find out rust everwhere and certain spots rotted. Wasted my time and gas getting there.

I wish they had a zero star option. Terrible and unethical. Looked at a truck that they claimed was "the real deal" and perfect. I wanted to have a mechanic look at it and they hesitated but agreed when I left a refundable deposit. The mechanic said they didn't even proceed past the test drive because it ran rough, the 4WD didn't work, and there was a terrible smell of burning fluid. I had to push them hard to refund my deposit and even then, they withheld $255 for no reason. They are no longer responding to me. Luckily my credit card company covered the fraudulent balance.

JOE... is very difficult to work with.. he is the OLD MAN with the grey pony tail.. He does not seem to want any business at all if it is to much for him. His spiel is:(he does not need the money and he has no mortgage) After our deal fell through , it was to much for Joe to change the pick up plan for the car . .he threatened to charge me fees for .. things that were not any of the buyers responsibility... Stay Away!!!

I wish I could leave a lower review. Joe the owner was incredibly rude from the first phone call when he hung up on me after I asked about a Carfax or service history. Told me the car was clean and ran great. I FLEW up from VA to check out the Land Rover LR3 currently listed. Got there and saw that the truck was filthy, had a cracked moon roof, and completely smashed side view mirror. Was told that before I arrived that he would be working on getting the brakes tighter before my test drive. When we test drove it the brakes were so mushy the car could barely stop itself going 30mph. When the car jerked during acceleration Joe blamed my driving (this would turn out to be a faulty MAF sensor). When I pointed out the tire pressure sensor light on, he said it was just the weather, OK couldn't be faulty pressure sensors. I pointed out the compressor ran too long on the suspension lift indicating a system leak, Joe said "its pretty snappy to me". After checking systems and letting the car idle, it began to idle roughly and eventually died altogether and the dash lit up like Christmas. I went inside to tell Joe and he immediately became defensive and shouted "I don't have all day to spend on this" after which he ordered his son Christian to see what was wrong. After watching Christian remove the MAF sensor and get an aerosol cleaner out, Joe came out to tell me "we don't watch the doctor work" and made me go inside where he then asked "so where are you at with the car". Internally I'm like there's no way I can drive this car 700 miles down I95. I said "well the brakes aren't working and it doesn't run". He said "SO IS IT YES OR NO" I said "i think I'm waffling". He then stormed out shouting to Christian "HE'S WAFFLING, STOP WORKING ON IT WE'RE NOT WASTING OUR TIME HERE!". He then told me I could wait for a ride outside as he and Christian closed up the shop and left! First thing, yes, I am a sucker for flying out to check out this car, but this was the most truly insane sales experience I have ever had. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Stay away. Their inventory looks like it got diverted on the way to the junkyard. I suspect they cleared codes before I got there. To top it all, the next day they had increased the price of the truck on their website from $5k to $6.5k! What absolute SCAMMERS!

If I was able to give him zero stars I would. He scammed me out of my money and then proceeded to tell my mom that I was slow and that she was crazy. He is rude and disgusting with how he speaks to women or people in general should not be tolerated. If you guys wanna file a complaint go to CT.GOV under consumer protection department you can report him I have already filed one for myself. If you live in Connecticut and dealt with him and he did some shady foul things to you I would highly suggest that you go to the police station.
