I usually opt for local businesses to support and I am glad I came to South Co Motors for my used car purchase because the team here is awesome. I worked with Estevan during my car buying process. He was super prompt after I reached out and inquired. He was also patient and catering, even coming in to help me test drive and look at vehicles on his day off. They have a friendly and no-pressure environment and my experience was simple and straightforward which is always nice when it comes to something stressful like car shopping. I also worked with Oscar and Rory who were bundles of greatness as well! Rory had to unfortunately sit for a while with my bank to gather some details but he was patient and friendly the entire time. We went in for a 2019 Honda civic sport, priced at $16,800, however, the pictures online did not match what the car looked like when we arrived. There was a carbon fiber sticker on the hood, I assume to hide scratching or damage. On the listing, it said there was no body damage at all and it was clean on the interior. When we arrived, there were LITERAL chunks of metal missing from the rims, windshield crack that ran across the entire front, and part of the front lip was held on by a zip tie. We did end up test driving it, but the entire interior of the car was oily and sticky, looked like it had not been detailed since the original pictures were taken in late January. More into the damage we found, was a cracked bumper, multiple dents and dings and a shredded back bumper, seemingly where someone backed over a curb. The way that the car dealer was not even consider dropping the price even though we found major errors in the listing and the car, was telling us “every used car is like this. You wanted a used car you get this because the rims are barely noticeable” I state again. 1-2inch CHUNKS out of the rims. I will not be coming back here if I can help it, not a good experience.
