Lloyd's Auto Sales

My parents purchased a car from Llyod's ayear or so ago. Now I have purchased my 1st car through Lloyd's. They are fair in pricing and a offer great customer service. I find that it would be difficult to leave unhappy with any employee at Lloyd's auto!

Everyone was very friendly and eager to work with us. We negotiated until we was all happy. This is my third purchase from Lloyd's Auto Sales in Hot Springs Arkansas and I would definitely recommend them if your looking for a vehicle. -Dawn Caldwell

DO NOT BUY HERE!! My employees bought a car here and within days it broke down! Less than a month it’s now the transmission that’s acting up. The salesman Joe was very dishonest with them and the office employees were rude when they tried to call and discuss these problems with the “owner”of Lloyds. Now I’m having to help them financially so they can get back and forth to work! It’s sad in the economy that we all are living in…that hard working individuals get lied to, deceived and scammed just for a $! Sad!!

I was smooth taken advantage of. I guess I should have worked with Lloyd...he was always nice to me. This guy I worked with saw me as a fruitcake and took four thousand down cash. I was ignorant. I totaled the car last year (was the other person's fault) and their insurance paid blue book value. I owed more for the car than what it was worth by a thousand dollars. I've been on the bus ever since. I'll never go back - (if I can ever can get another car)

The vehicle I purchased was very obviously "remedied" just to get it off the lot. I was sold a car with a leaking AC, two nearly flat tires, and no headlights in the vehicle whatsoever. They added refrigerant for the test drives, you could see the spray back under the hood from someone trying to refill it unsuccessfully before we did. It was spraying at all of the connections. Upon getting home the day of the purchase I tried to drive at night to test the headlights, but the problem was that there were NO headlights, no bulbs in the vehicle whatsoever! I could not legally drive this car and was without it for a week after purchasing. The tires were filled before test drives, low pressure light came on during our test drive which we mentioned. Was told "that hasn't happened before", except two days later I was sitting on two rims and had to get the tires replaced immediately... My husband and I called several times within a week with no answers to our messages. They said I had to set up auto pay before a certain date, but they wouldn't even return my call to do this. We had to take the time from our busy schedules to go in to speak with anyone. We spoke with who they said was the mechanic. The headlight issue was blamed on a string of thefts they had recently, but you cannot access the headlights unless the vehicle was left completely unlocked... They paid for the bulbs and AC, but would not pay for tires. I get it, I purchased a vehicle "As is", but NONE of the actual issues were noted on the paperwork (just cosmetic damage) and I feel very obviously lied to and then ignored after the fact. To this business, I would suggest better training for your mechanics or getting a better quality/safety check process or you will end up with a lawsuit or death on your hands! The customer service and response time needs work as well if you want to have an actual relationship with your customers. Very disappointing experience. I'm not from here and was expecting more honesty and integrity from Southern business owners/salesman, but I was sadly mistaken. I will never purchase another vehicle here and I suggest you don't either! I should have read the most recent reviews. This type of shady service seems to be a pattern recently. Lesson learned!
