Where is Starks Auto Plaza located?
2829 Red Wolf Blvd, Jonesboro, AR 72401What do customers say about Starks Auto Plaza?
We were passing through the area, and we noticed something happened with our car, and we stopped at this place. They fixed the car within half an hour. Thanks for the great service.
My experience was good I have a fiat 500x and it needed the drag link to a tire. We tried or they did to try and find this part along with the free diagnostic. I found the part on my own a month later went back there and had the part replaced with an alignment. However when I arrived after I finally found the part the cashier asked what the part cost to somehow charge a handling fee on what I paid for my part which I think was the weirdest so I made a number up I thought was fair and paid that. Tony kind of runs the place he is a veteran so you could go in speak with him go from there.
Horrible work. We use to come here all the time but since bringing my wife’s car to this place it’s been nothing but crap work. We got a serpentine belt attached but it slipped off because they didn’t attach it correctly. They told us the warranty doesn’t cover it since we didn’t have the part. And recently we paid them over $1600 in repairs on the car and we are paying them weekly for these repairs. One of the issues was our water pump which is still leaking coolant. We took it to another shop that was close by since the car was over heating. They didn’t do any work, just looked at the car. When I called Starks and spoke to Tony he hung up on me because I apparently had an “attitude” which of course I do we paid yall good money for these repairs. And when trying to tell him what happened he got mad at me and didn’t let me get a word in. He expects us to drive the car an hour to his shop so he can look at it but I know for a fact that his “warranty” will not cover the repairs because he said we took it to another shop for repairs. It is completely unprofessional to hang up on a customer when they are mad at you for doing crap work on their car.
GO ALMOST ANYWHERE ELSE. Initial experience was good nice lobby and I got a ride home but recently I got a blown head gasket and had to have my engine replaced and everyday they call with a new problem that costs at least $200 (new gaskets unmentioned before now needed+ $237 new exhaust manifold needed because the last shrank+ $279) Only get oil done here because at least it's cheap but you could probably save yourself thousands if found a better mechanic. I'll share pictures from when I get my jeep back but I'm out $5k and I'm concerned that I'll probably have to see another mechanic after it's done especially if the other 1 ⭐ reviews are as true as I am starting to think they are. I can't afford to pay twice for ones pack of integrity, I have a limit to my patience. 3% mark up for using debit too, $50 to clean the oil that spills on the subframe from engine removal.I got my bill and instead of the engine that cost me over $600 more than the other option was supposed to have only 7000 miles on it but an engine with 113000 miles was installed leading me to believe Tim and Josh pocketed the difference I have never been lied to so hard by a professional.Less than 15 miles after getting my jeep back the check engine light comes on I went to auto zone for the code and suddenly I have catalytic converter issues now plus my engine is over heating again which was the first $788 problem I took it in for initially. My mind has been plagued by bad thoughts about this place and my poor jeep for 2 weeks. It's like being in a toxic marriage with a thief who's having an affair.
This car lot does crappy work! They claim to fix something but they do it halfway just to get money. I wouldn’t bring any other vehicle here ever again!!!!!!
