On July 6, 2026, I purchased a 2020 Hyundai Elantra from Bueno Used Cars. During the sales process, I specifically told the salesperson, Andrew, that having a functioning backup camera was important to me. Andrew assured me that the dealership follows all federally mandated laws and stated that vehicles from 2019 and newer are required to have a working backup camera. After taking the vehicle home, I discovered the next day that the backup camera did not work when I put the car in reverse. I attempted basic troubleshooting by replacing the fuse, but the camera still did not function. I immediately notified Andrew by email when I sent my proof of insurance, and I informed him that the backup camera was not working. The dealership then scheduled an appointment for July 14, 2026, to inspect the issue. On July 14, 2026, I brought the vehicle to the dealership as requested. However, after inspecting the vehicle, I was told that they could not do anything to repair or correct the problem. I believe I relied on the salesperson's representations regarding the backup camera when making my purchase, and I am seeking assistance in having the issue resolved or repaired by the dealership.

I came back as a repeat customer and never had a problem. I had my wife apply so she can build credit . Wasn’t able to finance us due to primary residence “out of service area” which is ok but when asked to use rental property they said no. We also rent a home in Phoenix where we spend 85% of our time. No adjustments were made so they lost us as customers.
