Fred was so easy to work with and helpful. He was helpful and knowledgeable and very kind. He wanted us to get the car we needed at a price that was reasonable. This was our second time purchasing from Fred at Horne motors. Would and will recommend them, and Fred when looking for a good quality used car and an honest no hassle sales guy. He even sent me a video of the car before I arrived to check it out as well as a number of pictures. Very happy with the purchase and the service!
Showed up about an hour before closing, Tad met us out front, super nice guy! Showed us the car we were interested in, let us take turns test driving it, because we had out child with us. Mad a deal at an exceptional price and even stayed a little late to complete everything with us so we could drive the car home that night! Easy to work with, no pressure and great prices. Thank you Tad, I will definitely come back when we are ready for another car!
I was scouring for a new car when I came upon Horne Motors. I was nervous because this was my first time buying a car, but Fred made the process comfortable and easy. He helped me find a good car within my budget and walked me through the paperwork. 100/10 would come and buy a car from them again. Thanks again Fred for the amazing help!
Fred helped us find the perfect first vehicle for our daughter. We are so happy with our experience here! Everything went smoothly from start to finish. We would HIGHLY recommend this location. Thanks Fred and the amazing team at Horne Motors!!
So I bought a truck a 2012 Chevy avalanche with 114k on it from Horne used cars on power rd. Tad was my sales person, really nice guy. So I gave them 14.5k cash(check) for the truck I drove the vehicle home which was about 45 miles then I continued to put approx 20 miles a week on it for the next three weeks. So all and all I put under 200 miles on the truck... But it was three weeks oh no just past the fifteen days right. Yepper then the transmission goes out, I mean I had to replace the whole thing. So I'm thinking I know it's been past fifteen days but Horne is a trustworthy dealer with a reputation to hold up. So I figure let me call them and explain the situation I'm sure, I mean the people were so nice and Horne is so big, that they will be willing to help. I mean after all it's barely past the fifteen days and I only put less than 200 miles on it. I was figuring they would be like oh no that's terrible you know we aren't in the business of selling people lemons let's figure a way to make it a win for all. You know I was figuring what would be fair? I'll buy the transmission and you guys just put it in, I mean you have service shops that are more than capable. Well I'm sure you can figure by now that's not what they said.... Actually I called up, Tad answered, I told him who I was and of course he remembered, it was so recent. He was hey man what's going. Then I tell him and ask if I can speak to the GM, his tone changes and out comes the " this is what I'm suppose to say" line. "Well you know, we do the best we can to inspect the vehicles, we don't try to sell junk but it's been past the fifteen days and it was a cash buy that means as is". So I say cool man I get it I want to talk to the manager please have him call regardless of his decision on the matter. Wouldn't you know I never received a call I was basically told to stick it. That's ok, I got the transmission fixed 5.1k later, that's right I now paid about 20k for the truck. No big deal I was in the position that even if Horne is not going to be a company of integrity, honor and of good business ethics I will survive. So it's been about another three weeks now so no call from Horne, lol and I wasn't going to leave a review I just thought the hell with it. Then I remembered when I was in there the was this couple, a young couple with some young kids and I thought to myself I remember being that young man with a young family trying to make ends meat. You know living pay check to pay check and buying a car hoping it works out cause if not I'm tapped. We all remember being there or we are there now. Point is, thoughts and prayers to that couple, I hope the car they bought works out perfect for them. But if you are thinking about buying a car, a used car and you are living pay check to pay check and you need the car you buy to be as good as you think it is when you buy it because if it breaks down you can't get it fixed, don't have the money, I would highly suggest just staying away from Horne used cars on power rd take a chance somewhere else I've had similar things happen in my life and the dealer, much smaller I need to say, worked with me, was honorable. So don't trust this lot if you buy from them odds are you will have a different experience than I. But buyer beware if anything goes wrong it doesn't matter if it's right or wrong, if anything goes wrong and Horne on power rd can legally, different than ethically, get away with it they will not help you in any way there is no concern that they sold a lemon just that they have their money and the law says it's cool.
