02/13/2026 I drove from Fairbanks a truck and trailer to Anchorage to go purchase/ haul off my 2016 Ford Mustang GT from Payless. I have to say I was very pleased throughout the whole experience with those guys. My Salesman Isaac, he was easy to approach, very professional and accommodating. The loan process was quick and easy, highly recommend working with him. The employees Quinn and Dennis, they work hard to help me load my car onto my trailer and I was not expecting that, but they were awesome. Shout out to also Jim who assisted with loading my car, thank you. All I gotta say is my experience with Payless car sales and there staff was remarkable, a 10/10. Go see them if you’re in the market for a new used vehicles. Thanks again guys for the expiernce.

Couldn’t be happier. At the worst possible time, my 1999 Subaru Impreza threw its timing belt. I wasn’t going to spend $5000 on a new engine. I started scrolling on Payless Car Sale’s website and discovered this 2018 Jeep Compass, six speed manual transmission. Four-wheel-drive. EXACTLY what I needed. I applied, Robert K called me from the Anchorage location within an hour. Within another hour, he got me out the door with an approval at a really affordable price every month. When I got the vehicle home, I discovered the driver side headlight was out. Within five minutes of sending Robert a text message, he called me back and sincerely apologized, he also advised me to head to their Wasilla location and they will replace the headlights.

Had a great experience at Payless Car Sales. I felt that they have a great business model and pass savings directly on to there clients. I appreciate the fact that they are a no haggle dealership and that there sales staff are not commission based. I would recommend Robert Kowatch at the anchorage branch to anyone he helped me leave with a new to me vehicle feeling like I got my money worth and a reliable vehicle for years to come.
