We were very happy and pleasantly surpassed at our experience at Sheffield Motors. The car we bought us fantastic. Usually after buying a used car you find at least one thing wrong after a couple weeks, but this car is flawless for a 2006! They let us haggle a deal that we were extremely happy with. Sorry guys, we were prepared to spend $700 more 😉 Overall a great experience. Very nice sales staff and very accommodating. They even let my son and I test drive both cars without the sales person needing to come with. A true 5 star rating here. Thank you Sheffield for a fantastic used car buying experience. the dude trying to sell me a car was a real piece of work. he threw a temper tantrum when i suggested an offer lower than he wanted, literally walking away from me for a minute. he refused to go down more than $100 despite the car not being in sale condition (the horn did not work. i wonder what else from their little checklist was false as well)

I’m writing this to help others avoid going through what I did. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and within a week of purchase I had to spend nearly $1,500 on repairs just to make it safe to drive. My mechanic found corroded control arms, bad ball joints, sway bar links, and a warped rotor serious issues that should have been disclosed or repaired before selling the car. The owner personally gave me his word that the vehicle was “good to go” and in great condition. However, when I later checked the Wisconsin DMV disclosure form in the glove compartment, I saw that the dealership had marked “No” to every question about prior damage or mechanical issues which clearly wasn’t accurate based on the condition of the car. This experience was costly and disappointing. I’m leaving this review so others know to get an independent inspection before purchasing and to read the DMV disclosure carefully. I truly hope this helps someone avoid the same experience I had.
