I bought an SL500 from Rick and had a great experience. The pricing was fair, and the entire crew was friendly and easy to work with. It didn’t feel like one of those typical dealerships where they push you to buy some overpriced junk—these guys were honest, straightforward, and down to business. They let the car speak for itself and were transparent about its history. I appreciated how laid-back but professional the whole process was. If you’re looking for a used car in Spokane without the usual dealership hassle, I’d definitely recommend checking them out.

My partner and I went to Ricks in early January just to check out his inventory that we had seen online. Alex had rolled our former Jeep on an icy road, and we were in the market for another preowned Jeep. I did not expect the process to find a new car to be this easy! I expected many weeks of research and hesitation, but when we arrived to Rick's we were really impressed with his inventory. Additionally, his website and the availability of car reports of the vehicles on his lot made the process transparent and less stressful. Rick offered us a great price within our budget, and we left the lot in early January with a car we both love and continue to love. Thank you for what you do Rick, my partner and I are really happy with your service and our Jeep! Oh, and I must add that not only do you find great cars at Rick's Kar Korner in Spokane, you also find an owner who feeds and cares for the cats that have made his lot home. Recently bought a 2014 Subaru Forester from Rick. Super fair, friendly and honest. He even had new tires, new windshield and oil change put in the car before we took it home. He has been in business for more than 40 years and in this location for 15 years. He has awards all over his office as well. He has a lot of fairly priced vehicles on his lot. Mainly Subaru. We will do business again in the future. Highly recommend.

I am writing this to detail my experience with Rick’s Kar Korner in Spokane, WA. In August 2024, I purchased a 2013 Chevy Malibu from Rick. In November 2025, the vehicle experienced catastrophic engine failure. After multiple tows and weeks of diagnostics (including being sent to mechanics Rick works with), I was ultimately told the engine was beyond repair, with an estimated $13,000 replacement cost on a vehicle worth…not that much. Throughout this process, I paid out of pocket for towing and diagnostic fees. After the vehicle sat for a month+ at Rick’s mechanic’s lot, I finally had it towed back. When I did, the interior was covered in visible mold, on the seatbelts, seating surfaces, door panels, and trunk carpeting. There was absolutely no mold present prior to the vehicle being towed. The vehicle was returned to me in materially worse condition than when it left my possession. I am not seeking compensation through this review. I am documenting my experience so others can make informed decisions. Between the mechanical failure shortly after purchase and the condition in which the vehicle was returned to me, I cannot recommend doing business here.

What a bad attitude owner, he was pissed off because I questioned his price on a truck, and he lied about. I asked how he came up with a price and he just made up a number because he said the truck had no book value, I been in the car business for over 20 years myself and that’s a straight up lie every car has a book value, and I asked if he planned to replace the bald tires in the rear and he said no, the tires where at the wear bars tread on the sidewalls doesn’t make it good, perhaps he was insulted because I had the right question to ask, so rather than work a deal he crumbled up the paperwork and told me to go find a truck somewhere else. For the overpriced truck and a quick glance at prices on his other vehicles I would strongly recommend the same to you all.
